EastEnders fans name Christmas Day murder victim as a character that’s already ‘dead’

That's another one to add to our list...

EastEnders fans have spent the past nine months trying to work out who could be set to die on Christmas Day after a flash forward episode revealed six killers gathered around a dead body, and now they think they’ve worked out who – though the suspect may already be dead.

It isn’t outside of the realms of possibility for EastEnders characters to come back from the dead, with Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) being the most recent example, as well as one of The Six, Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth).

Although, it would be quite unfortunate to come back from the dead only to be killed off again.

However, this is exactly what some fans suspect could happen to Mick Carter (Danny Dyer), who went missing at sea last Christmas.

Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), another member of The Six, received a presumption of death certificate for the father of her children earlier this year, after Mick failed to reappear after diving into the freezing cold sea to save her life.

There is speculation among fans that Mick may return from the murky ocean depths this Christmas and play a part in the murder, with some even thinking that he may end up wearing the dreaded cufflinks.

Others suspect that he may end up delivering a final fatal blow, killing Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) after all the trauma he has put Linda through.

There are a number of suspects in the frame to be killed this Christmas, after EastEnders announced the final line up with a recent promo picture.

Alongside Dean are Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley), Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry), Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) and Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).

Every single one of these men has wronged The Six in some way this year, some more than others, and with the women toasting to seeing men ‘get what they deserve’, at least one of them is bound to get their comeuppance.

So, could Mick Carter be the body on the floor at Christmas? Although it seems unlikely, anything is possible when it comes to EastEnders, and we certainly wouldn’t rule him out.

If Dirty Den can come back from the dead only to be killed off again down the line, then why can’t Mick?

With only two weeks to go until the big day, we will certainly continue to be on the hunt for clues, and any indication that Mick could be involved…
