EastEnders fans predict sinister fate for one Walford resident as The Six’s murder secret is rumbled
"I've got this gut feeling that you're in trouble."
DESPITE burying their secret, the Six have been left in fear as they learned one fellow resident is slowly catching up with the truth.
Shocked EastEnders fans know it’s a matter of time before the Six have to face consequences and they’re expecting another murder.
The Six are desperately trying to save face and push attention away from them following the death of Keanu Taylor.
In tonight’s (December 28, 2023) episode, Sharon Watts (portrayed by Letitia Dean) broke down to Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) as the reality of their predicament continued to weigh heavily on her conscience.
But before they could truly talk things out, one Walford resident entered Kathy’s home only to make them realise they had another matter to worry about.
Kathy was stunned when her estranged husband Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) walked in, forcing a teary Sharon to hide.
Rocky admitted he was worried about Kathy as he instinctively drew the conclusion that she was in trouble and Sharon had something to do with it.
Regular viewers of the BBC One soap will remember that Rocky saw Sharon in her wedding dress, vainly trying to appear less conspicuous, outside of Kathy’s café, just as the Six got rid of Keanu’s body all together.
“I’ve got this gut feeling that you’re in trouble”, Rocky admitted before remembering Kathy’s claims that Keanu had held her, Sharon, Suki Panesar, Stacey Slater, Denise Fox and Linda Carter at knifepoint.
“How come I saw Sharon outside the café and don’t try telling me that I didn’t?”, Rocky then asked.
“I don’t want to see you implicated in a crime, especially one that involves attempted murder”, he added as a direct reference to a comatose Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry).
“I reckon, Sharon did something to help Keanu and you were part of it and it won’t be long before the police catch up with her and you.”
While Kathy tried to convince Rocky that Sharon had never left The Vic and he continually begged her to be honest, things only got worse as he revealed he’d also seen Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and Denise Fox (Diane Parish) carry a tarp across the Square.
This was enough for viewers to take to X, formerly known as Twitter, and share their thoughts.
Many of them demanded an unforgiving punishment for Rocky.
“Right.. The Six better off Rocky next, I don’t need him sniffing round trying to break Kathy!”, one soap fan shared.
Another added: “That Rocky’s a bloody pain in the arse!!!! Always standing with that stupid confused look on his face. His exit can’t come quick enough!”
“Surely Rocky won’t just go quietly?”, a third viewer questioned.
One optimistic viewer jumped in: “I feel like Kathy is going to tell Rocky the truth and persuade he to leave before things go south for him.”
“Rocky mind your business”, another penned before adding: “Rocky is going to start digging watch and then blackmail or something.”
Others even predicted his own demise due to actor Brian Conley’s upcoming exit from the long-running program.
“Ohhhhhhhhhhhh! So THAT’S how Rocky goes!!!!!”, one viewer wrote as another predicted: “I think The Six is going to have to get rid of Rocky some way.”
“Rocky better mind his business before he ends up lying next to Keanu”, one final fan commented.
Later on in the episode, The Six gathered in the back of the Queen Vic as Kathy gave an update on their situation.
And while she was initially encouraged to take him back to soften him up, Suki Panesar had another idea.
“He burned down the caf, right? Arson is a life sentence”, she said just as her accomplices were beginning to panic.
“If he’s in prison, he isn’t going to be worrying about piecing everything together.”
Kathy reeled in shock as the episode drew to a close but will she make the sacrifice to save herself, Linda and the rest of the Six?
How will Rocky leave the Square?
Will his exit be permanent?
