EASTENDERS fans have sunk their claws into the ‘worst couples ever seen on a soap’ as they blast the BBC for a ‘disgusting’ string of romances.
The BBC soap likes to keep viewers on their toes when it comes to who is dating or sleeping with who.
But some of the latest pairings have got EastEnders fans’ backs up, with Nish Panesar sleeping with Kat Slater following their respective marriage breakdowns.
Many viewers have also been outraged by Gina Knight falling for the charms of Dean Wicks, despite the fact he raped her step-sister Linda Carter.
Posting a Reddit topic titled ‘The absolute worst couples I have ever seen on eastenders’, a viewer wrote: “Why have the eastenders writers recently just decided to create the most disgusting cringe horrible couples in the history of the show.
“BOBBY AND ANNA, DEAN AND GINA, NISH AND KAT. Everytime I see Bobby and Anna interact I cringe inside. I wanted them together at first but the way they act together is cringe af. No chemistry and I hate seeing them on screen.
“Nish and Kat are just the weirdest coupling ever. Most different people and it just seems forced.
“Dean and Gina. Do I need to even say anything here? Disgusting. Have they just started a competition in the writers room to make the most f***ed up couplings?”
Another added: “Anna and Bobby are giving primary school relationship. Don’t see what Gina sees in an older man with a daughter almost her age that r*ped her stepsister but .. here we are.
“Kat and Nish should only speak in the dark with alcohol involved, if at all. I don’t want to see them having a brew in the morning it’s outright weird. why is Priya shipping for Kat and Nish? I think they’re just spitballing at this point and hoping something works.”
A third simply replied: “Cannot stand this Nish and Kat storyline it’s repulsive and completely unbelievable.”
