EASTENDERS fans have spotted a game-changing clue proving Suki Panesar will be the killer this Christmas.
During Thursdays episode, Suki put her plan into action to leave Albert Square with lover Eve Unwin.
The women had agreed to meet at the tube station to grab the last train out of the area, but Suki had no idea her husband Nish had discovered CCTV footage of her kissing Eve in The Minute Mart.
He then took her phone and sent Eve a message, luring her to Walford East where he confronted her.
Eve gave as good as she got and told Nish how Suki loved her, not him and that they had been secretly together on and off for months.
As she went to leave and meet Suki, Nish lashed out and hit her round the head with a bottle of fizz.
Meanwhile Suki anxiously called and text Eve asking where she was, as a tube station staff member started to close up the station.
As she failed to get a response, the gates were pulled across the entrance of the station, with Suki looking forlornly through.
But the moment gave EastEnders viewers food for the thought, with many thinking it was a clue to the Christmas Day whodunnit.
Fans are desperate to find out who the mystery man is lying dead on the floor of The Vic, and who killed him.
Following the latest Suki scenes, many are convinced they pointed to her being the culprit.
Taking to X – formerly Twitter – one wrote: “This shot actually made me gasp when I first saw it. The symbolism and everything it stands for is heart-breaking #EastEnders”.
Another added: “Why do I feel like the shot of the gates shutting on Suki is foreshadowing her going to prison for killing Nish #EastEnders.”
A third commented: “Foreshadowing with the suki behind bars scene.”
A fourth tweeted: “Blimey – talk about showing Suki still trapped in the life she wants to be free from!”
EastEnders airs on BBC One and is available on BBC iPlayer.
