EastEnders fans spot huge blunder as Jack and Stacey reignite affair in steamy scenes
EastEnders viewers all raised the same question after Jack and Stacey rekindled their scandalous romance in the Slater household during the latest instalment of the soap
EastEnders fans pointed out a major blunder as Jack Branning and Stacey Slater reignited their affair.
The pair appeared to call things off after Jack (Scott Maslen) came clean to wife Denise (Diane Parish) about sleeping with Stacey (Lacey Turner) before Christmas. But during Tuesday’s instalment (January 30) of the BBC soap, things changed.
At the beginning of the episode, Denise was freaked after a conversation with Nish (Navin Chowdhry) and told Jack she couldn’t be there for Charli’s guardianship hearing. Afterwards, Jack joined the rest of the Slater’s in celebrating at their house.
Jack made an advances on Stacey when the pair were alone in the kitchen, but she managed to avoid it by using the excuse to check on the kids. Later, however, they couldn’t help but fall into each other’s arms.
At the end of the episode Jack admitted to Stacey that their night together wasn’t another one-off, insisting this is what he wants. Fans were quick to raise questions about the steamy scenes however, wondering how they are sneaking around with such a full house.Sharing their thoughts on X, formerly known as Twitter, one wrote: “What I don’t get is that these are small houses. Stacey’s house is full of kids, then there’s Jean, Eve and Suki. So why hasn’t anyone there noticed what they are doing?”
Another penned: “Got to laugh how Stacey has time or space to have an affair with Jack. There’s about 74 people living in that house. Where’s her kids supposed to be? Not with Martin as he’s in Australia.”
A third agreed: “How Jack and Stacey are secretly sleeping together in a house with 6 other people and a newborn is beyond me.” Another baffled viewer asked: “That house is has umpteen people living in it. How do Stacey and Jack think they won’t get caught??”
Meanwhile a fifth echoed: “Okay so you’re telling me in a house FULL of kids / Jean/ Harvey/Eve/Suki – Stacey and Jack were able to sneak off UNNOTICED & UNHEARD for some sexy time ?? As Kim would say – “Do me a favour!”
