EastEnders fans stunned as Sharon’s baby secret blown wide open in explosive showdown

EASTENDERS fans have been left stunned after Sharon’s baby secret was blown wide open in an explosive showdown.
Sharon was recently left shell-shocked to learn her ex – Phil Mitchell – is son Albie’s dad and not her fiance, Keanu Taylor.
She decided to keep the news a secret from both men, but in tonight’s episode, she ended up confiding in best friend Linda Carter.
However, Sharon made the admission just moments before finding an empty bottle of vodka in Linda’s bed, and was horrified to realise her friend had started drinking again.
The pair put on brave faces during Sharon’s hen do at the pub, with all the guests wearing blonde wigs to resemble the bride-to-be.
But when Sharon found Linda drunk in the pub toilets, they had a heart to heart.
However, Linda suddenly had the urge to be sick, so Sharon helped her into a cubicle, before bringing her back out to wash her mouth at the sink.
Once she had pulled herself together a bit, Linda said: “I’m scared for you. You can’t marry Keanu with this secret. You have to tell him.”
But Sharon replied: “No. Never. I’m going to be fine. Now I’m going to be marrying Keanu, and as far as he’s concerned he’s Albie’s dad.
“Phil will never know that Albie’s his son.”
But as soon as she had finished speaking, a toilet was heard flushing and Phil’s wife Kat Slater came out of the other cubicle.
Flinging her blonde wig at Sharon, she said: “That’s what you think” before marching out of the toilets and through the pub.
Sharon gave chase and stopped her in the Square, begging her not to ruin her life by telling Phil.
Kat hit back, saying Sharon was selfish making it all about her and she had to tell her husband.
But Sharon warned: “Me and Phil are dangerous, we bring out the worst in each other. Keanu is a dad Albie deserves.”
But as Kat continued to insist she couldn’t keep such a revelation from Phil, Sharon changed tact and said: “Fine you tell him, and you’ll lose everything too.”
When Kat asked what she meant by that, Sharon continued: “If you tell Phil, he will tell Keanu and Keanu will leave me, and why should I bring up Albie alone?”
Kat replied: “But you two are in the past, you’ve both told me a thousand times.”
Sharon said: “But we’ve never had a child together, we’ve never had that bond. And aren’t you scared you’re going to look like the boobie prize?
“I wouldn’t take that risk Kathleen, because I swear, if you ruin my love with Keanu, I’m coming after yours.”
As Kat walked off towards home, EastEnders viewers took to X – formerly Twitter – to discuss the dramatic scenes.
One wrote: “OMG KAT WAS IN THE TOILET!! They wasn’t me finished this festive period. Literally gonna be the highlight!”
Another added: “Not Kat being in the toilet!!!”
A third tweeted: “Sharon is keeping a secret from Keanu, Keanu is keeping a secret from Sharon. Kat is keeping a secret from Phil, Phil is keeping a secret from Kat. Keanu is keeping a secret from Kat whilst Linda is keeping a secret from Phil. This is #Eastenders.”
Meanwhile a fourth wrote: “After tonight’s episode I’m convinced Kat will be the 7th.”
