Karen Taylor’s EastEnders exit is looming on the horizon – and actress Lorraine Stanley has dropping hints about how she truly feels about her upcoming departure.
It was reported earlier this year that actress Lorraine, 47, will be written out of the BBC One soap at the end of the year. And with Lorraine’s character Karen set to leave soon, the actress took to Instagram to post a cryptic message on Tuesday night.
Posting a picture of her character, Lorraine penned: “I hear ya! So many beautiful messages, too many to reply to each one but I’m definitely feeling the love, thank you they really do mean a lot” with a peace, heart and heart face emoji. It comes as Karen has been part of an explosive storyline recently with on-screen son Keanu Taylor.

Keanu and Karen teamed up to steal everything Sharon Watts had, including her son Albie, after Sharon refused to put Keanu on his birth certificate. She also planned to move away from Walford with her son, leaving Keanu behind and with little access to his son.
Karen was furious and encouraged him to take revenge, leading to the fake kidnapping of his son Albie. Karen took him to a family member’s house and Keanu wrote a ransom note, leading to Phil lending Sharon £50,000 to pay the supposed abductors. Karen was left hiding the money at her flat.
Things have gone from bad to worse as Keanu has now got engaged to Sharon again after celebrating the safe return of Albie with Sharon still oblivious Keanu was responsible. The duo wanted to celebrate their engagement on Tuesday and Karen refused to join in.

Karen visited Sharon and made it clear she did not approve of their relationship. But it seemed as though she was dropping big hints about her involvement in Albie’s kidnapping, as she told Sharon she would do anything for her boy.
Sharon asked what she meant, questioning if she was referring to something in particular. The scene then ended with Karen pulling a face, before Sharon was next seen alone when Keanu returned home. She claimed Karen had upped and left, but did Karen spill the beans on what Keanu did? Some fans think Sharon has been told the truth, and she is pretending to know nothing about it as she plots her revenge against her partner. Elsewhere, some fans think Karen will be arrested for the kidnap plot and take the full blame to save Keanu.
