The makers of EastEnders have promised that the upcoming months will hold a lot of high voltage drama for the Branning family. The seeds for it have already been sowed in the form of Lauren and Penny’s upcoming return to Walford. However, that is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg. The drama is going to run much deeper and thicker than that. A few weeks ago, the BBC One soap gave us a quick sneak peek into possible sparks between Jack and Stacey!
However, now it seems like the sparks are about to build into a full blown romantic fire on EastEnders. Jack and Stacey have been spending a lot of time together ever since Lily became pregnant with Ricky’s baby. After all, the two grown ups needed to prove to the social services that the Brannings and The Slaters are well prepared to take care of the baby when it arrives. Now, the latest spoilers reveal that Stacey will once again be needing Jack’s support.
EastEnders spoilers reveal that Theo leaves Stacey shaken with his menacing threat. Upset, she resorts to finding comfort in alcohol. Later, she bumps into Jack in a rather sloshed condition. Jack, of course, gives her the support she needs in the moment. This leads to her breaking down and making a full confession about what actually transpired between her, Theo and Freddie that dreadful night.
Stacey admits to Jack that she planted the wrench next to Theo to make it look like he attacked her on EastEnders. A shocked Jack tells her that owing to his position in the Police Department he is obliged to inform the authorities. However, Stacey manages to convince him to keep her secret. He begrudgingly agrees. Stacey is beyond moved by Jack’s gesture and the two have a heart-to-heart about their past. From where we are looking from, it appears that in the upcoming episodes the two will grow even closer.
Of course, that will just go on to be a complication in Jack’s relationship with Denise on EastEnders. A lot of Branning drama is coming up, remember? Interestingly, both, Stacey and Denise, are part of The Six for the Christmas story. And guess who was one the very first speculated victims for the murder?Jack Branning, of course!
