EastEnders Jay and Lola lookalike Nadine’s future ‘sealed’ as pair set ‘to get together’
EXCLUSIVE: EastEnders' fan-favourite Jay has been finding comfort in sex worker Nadine following the death of Lola - and AI reckons the two could actually get together
EastEnders star Jay Brown could be making it official and getting together with Nadine Kellar, AI has claimed.
The fan-favourite character, played by Jamie Borthwick, has faced heartache in the past 12 months following the death of Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold). As fans will recall she was tragically killed off from the soap in May after battling a brain tumour.
Since then, Jay has seemingly found comfort in soap newcomer and sex worker Nadine (Jazzy Phoenix). At first, he merely paid for her to sleep next to him, after he was unable to switch off at night.
In recent episodes, things have taken a dark turn for Jay – who has been on the soap since 2006. Last week, he begged, and ultimately scored, drugs from Nadine.
Now, with things seemingly getting tense between the pair, it’s been claimed Jay and Nadine could actually get together. Daily Star has quizzed one of the world’s most popular artificially intelligent “creative” tools Bard AI, to see if Jay and Nadine could strike up a romantic relationship.
The program responded: “It is possible that Jay and Nadine will get together in EastEnders. They have been growing closer recently, and Jay has clearly been attracted to her.”
Bard AI then said how there are a “few reasons” why the pair could get together. It explained: “Firstly, they have a lot in common. They are both young, attractive, and single. They have also both experienced loss and trauma in their lives. This could create a bond between them and help them to understand and support each other.”
The system also said: “Secondly, Nadine seems to be genuinely interested in Jay. She has been kind and supportive to him, and she has clearly been attracted to him from the start. Jay, on the other hand, is initially hesitant to get involved with Nadine, but he seems to be slowly coming around to her.”

However, Bard AI did note that Jay is “still grieving the death of his wife Lola.” As a result, the system claimed: “It is unclear whether he is ready to move on yet.”
The program also brought up Nadine’s “mysterious past.” It explained: “It is unknown what her true intentions are. This could lead to distrust and problems in the relationship.”
