It appeared the fan snapped a pic at the ending moment of the infamous play The Full Monty of which Danny is currently appearing.

The story is notable for the men stripping off and going full-frontal at the very end of the show.

In a bid to capture the moment in all it’s glory, Danny was left furious as he claimed one fan took a snapshot of the moment despite photography being banned inside the show’s venues.

The star wrote in a Tweet: “To the woman who took a photo at the end of todays performance of full Monty with a flash on. Hope you’re happy you Pervy disrespectful low life.”

Danny is currently co-starring in the popular show alongside X Factor singer turned TV hunk Jake Quickenden as well as fellow former soap star Bill Ward.

Fellow actors Neil Hurst, Ben Onwukwe and Nicholas Prasad complete the starry line-up.

The incident happened on just the third night into the play’s run which is set to tour the UK and Ireland until the end of April next year.

Danny’s loyal fans were quick to offer their support to the star as they branded the action “disgusting”.

One said: “It disgusting behaviour and I support you.”

As another commented: “I’m so sorry that happened to you!”

The rendition of the play has so far gone down a treat with fans who were left overtly impressed with the show.

One fan who attended said of the show: “@FullMontyPlay amazing cast at the the @StoryhouseLive tonight loved u all.”

It is a major theatre role for Danny who has taken on mostly TV projects since his exit from the BBC One soap opera.

As well as appearing as Lee Carter on and off between 2014 and 2020, he co-starred alongside Michelle Keegan in Our Girl as well as appearing in BBC drama Ridley Road.
