It’s a big day for diehard EastEnders fans like us who have spent the last ten months trying to work out who will die in the Queen Vic tonight (December 25), and it sounds like we will all be in for a huge shock.

While we are brimming with excitement and wondering if it’s too early for a bucks fizz, some members of the EastEnders cast already know which man will ‘get what he deserves’, and we are quite frankly very jealous.

Actress Letitia Dean has been at he heart of this storyline since the flash forward episode first aired back in February, as it was her character Sharon Watts who uttered the now infamous phrase: ‘He’s dead.’

It wasn’t until the very last minute that The Six actually found out who they would be killing, and it seems that none of them were expecting the outcome, with Letitia revealing that she was completely ‘shocked’.

‘I was not expecting it, and I don’t think any of us were! I’m excited to see how it will play out as I think the viewers are going to love it. Although, it was easier not knowing as now I’m scared to open my mouth in case I say something I shouldn’t!’

Like the viewers, The Six found themselves theorising over who could be dead and who could have done it, with Letitia admitting to having her mind changed by some of the fan theories on social media.

‘It’s been brilliant. We’re all so thrilled at the reaction, and it’s great fun to read all of the theories. Some of them have even changed my mind over the course of the year!’

Sharon has been involved in some enormous Christmas Day storylines over the years, but this is up there as one of Letitia’s favourites.

‘I’ve been involved in so many great Christmas storylines and this one is really up there for me. Although at this point, I’m surprised Sharon doesn’t skip the holiday altogether given her track record!’ She joked.

‘It’s always great to be part of a big story, but to be part of something that has gone on for nearly a year with Sharon and the other five has been wonderful. I love and adore each and every one of them, and we’re all just so excited to be a part of it.’

Now that we’re just hours away from the big reveal, what can we expect to see from this year’s Christmas Day episode?

‘Viewers can expect lots of drama, a whole heap of tension and there is definitely going to be that shock factor.’
