EastEnders: Linda and Dean’s Story Takes A Heated Turn Right Before Christmas
Linda’s life has been full of trials and tribulations on EastEnders. However, things took an even disastrous turn when she lost her husband Mick, last Christmas. Fans will remember that after their car accident, they were thrown into the treacherous sea. Where Mick vanished in the water while trying to save his wife -Linda Carter. Although his body was never recovered, Walford presumed him drowned and dead.
Linda had still been trying to come to terms with the loss of the love of her life on EastEnders, when she was hit with another fiery curveball. Dean Wick returned to Walford. The same man who raped her nine years ago, and never paid the price for it. As expected, ever since he set foot in town, he and Linda crossed swords with each other. Often getting caught up in a war of words. However, the latest spoilers reveal that their conflict is going to reach an all time high and spell certain disaster for at least one of them.
Linda Faces Her Worst Fear on EastEnders
In the recently aired December 21, 2023, EastEnders episode, Linda shockingly received a text from her dead husband – Mick Carter. However, it is really very unlikely that the message was actually written by Mick. Many spoilers hint that devious Dean could be behind the sham text. Previously, on EastEnders, Linda verbally attacked and threatened Dean in front of his daughter -Jade. Amid the heated argument, Linda ended up exposing Dean as a sex offender.
Shocked by the revelation, Jade decided to cut ties with her father and once again left Walford on EastEnders. Thus, there is a massive possibility that Dean now wants revenge from Linda. He could be using Mick’s name as bait to lure her into meeting him. Turns out that’s exactly what happens. When Linda arrives at the place where she and Mick once got married, she sees Dean standing right in front of her. However, here’s the biggest twist!
Instead of attacking Linda or seeking revenge on EastEnders, Dean admitted to having raped her. He confessed that it is perhaps because of his sins that his daughter is suffering. However, Linda refused to forgive him and left. Later, at The Vic an inebriated Linda caught a glimpse of Dean, yet again. But is it her imagination, or is he really there? If he is, then why? Could he have changed his mind and returned for a renewed altercation?
