EastEnders Linda’s fling with shock resident ‘exposed’ after relapse — and it’s not Alfie
EXCLUSIVE: Linda Carter has had a rather dramatic 12 months on BBC EastEnders but she is now said to be starting a romance with an unlikely character - and he’s a married man
EastEnders Linda Carter could be set for a shock romance with an unlikely resident, AI has claimed.
The character played by Kellie Bright, has been a firm favourite in Walford for a decade – making her debut back in 2013. And it’s fair to say she has been a part of some of the soap’s biggest storylines since.
Over in Walford at the moment, she’s dealing with the return of bad boy Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo). Fans will recall how Dean raped Linda back in 2014 – something he has always denied.
Since his comeback on Halloween, he has done nothing but torment Linda and her family. At first, he made her give a false confession that he never actually raped her.
Dean secretly recorded this conversation and played it for everyone in the Vic to hear – but luckily they all rallied round Linda. However, things got so bad for Linda that in episodes last week, she turned to booze, breaking her sobriety.
After realising her mistake, she called on Phil Mitchell, who is also recovering alcoholic. for some advice. She also confided in best pal Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).
With the no doubt iconic Christmas Day episode just around the corner, fans are certain it’s Dean who will end up as the dead body on the floor in the Vic. But now, it’s been claimed that Linda could be starting a romance with an unlikely resident on the square – and it’s not Alfie.
Fans will recall how the soap has hinted at a romantic relationship between Linda and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) for a while, as their friendship has appeared to blossom into something more. However, AI reckons Linda will shack up with none other than Phil Mitchell, who is currently married to Kat.
Daily Star has quizzed one of the world’s most popular artificially intelligent “creative” tools Bard AI to see who Linda could start a romance with on EastEnders. The program responded: “The show has been hinting at a few potential suitors, each with their own reasons for potentially being a match.”
Bard AI then claimed Linda could start a romance with soap icon Phil. The system explained: “There are several factors that have sparked speculation, including their shared struggles.
“Both Linda and Phil have dealt with their own demons, including grief, addiction, and volatile relationships. This shared understanding could create a bond between them,” AI claimed. Bard AI also pointed out how by Linda confiding in Phil about her relapse, it has “brought them closer, showcasing a dynamic that both actors have acknowledged has ‘spark.’”
