“In a flash everything changes,” insists EastEnders new trailers and teasers, ahead of the highly anticipated Christmas storyline. In February 2023, the soap released a FlashForward towards the productions arguably the biggest and most thrilling storyline in recent times. Over the months, several cast and crew members have insisted that this story will be remembered as one of the bets ones on EastEnders. Until now, all the teasers were centered around The Six women of Walford. Namely- Suki, Stacey, Sharon, Kathy, Denise and Linda.
However, EastEnders just dropped a bunch on new posters, featuring the make leads. Interestingly, the photos feature seven men, as opposed to six ladies. Meanwhile, the tag lines remain the same. We know that the Christmas storyline is all about the death of a mystery male character. Ever since the story was first teased, many speculations have surfaced. Bringing multiple men of the soap as possible candidates to be the man on the floor.
Now, with the launch of these new posters, EastEnders has narrowed the victim pool to seven possible men. Namely – Phil, Jack, Keanu, Nish, Ravi, Rocky, and Dean. All of which have solid connections to at least one of The Six women. Surprisingly, one man who was on every fans’ list of contenders is missing from the poster – Theo Hawthorne. So, it looks like the lecherous teacher will survive the season to cause more trouble later! But let’s take a look at the men who did make it to the posters, and figure which one is most likely to meet their end this Christmas!
Who Seems More Likely To Die This Christmas on EastEnders?
First on our list is Nish Panesar! He recently discovered his wife’s affair with Eve on EastEnders. He has already ensured that Eve vanishes forever. But could her return or Suki’s discovery of what he did lead to an altercation that ends in his death? It is certainly possible! Like his father, Ravi too, could suffer the same fate, as he was equally involved in making Eve disappear. But, that’s not all. He even is responsible for Ranveer’s death. Suki’s son Kheerat took the fall for it. So, that could also be an angle here.
Third and fourth on our list are Keanu and Phil on EastEnders. Currently, Phil is determined to expose Kenu for Albie’s fake kidnapping. Interestingly, Keanu is looking to marry Sharon on Christmas day. So the two men could very well get into a fight on D-day, that could eventually end in one of them ending dead on the floor. That would make total sense because in the flash forward teasers, Sharon is sitting by the dead body.
Fifth possible man is Rocky Cotton on EastEnders. We know Brian Conley has already exited the soap and filmed his exit scenes. So this one seems quite obvious. But also very anti-climatic at the same time. Especially, since Nish has already exposed Rocky’s secret to Kathy. So we will let this one slip. Next is top-cop Jack Branning. With connections to both Denise and Stacey, he is areal person of interest. Especially, since Lauren and Peggy are both returning home soon after Christmas. Moreover, some BTS pics show Lauren at a funeral. Could that be Jack’s?
The last one on the list is Dean Wicks! The sex offender just returned to Walford on EastEnders. Moreover, he has already made new enemies, as well as, renewed old animosities. We mean – Keanu and Linda, respectively. There is a possibility that he attacks Linda once again. However, this time the other five ladies protect her by taking Dean down. As once promised by Kathy!
