EastEnders: Nish (Navin Chowdhry) Posts Moving Message For his Wife’s Cancer Battle
Nish Panesar is perhaps one of the most despicable characters on EastEnders. He has a long standing history of inflicting marital abuse on his wife Suki. In fact, even in one of the recent episodes of the BBC One soap, the murderous man put his wife through physical and psychological abuse. When Suki tried telling him that she believes Denise’s claims of Ravi being Ranveer’s murderer, Nish lost it. He grabbed her by the throat and pushed her into admitting that Kheerat was to be blamed. Certainly not the husband any woman would want!
His portrayer, Navin Chowdhry, seems to be a far cry from his character though. The EastEnders star is actually an ideal husband who holds his wife in the highest regard. A sentiment that spilled through the cracks of social media when he posted a tribute to his wife’s battle with cancer. Marking the two-year milestone, Navin posted a picture of a mug on his Instagram account that read,”Straight Outta Chemo”. Perhaps in reference to the 2015 film with the similar name, Straight Outta Compton.
EastEnders: Navin Chowdhry’s Tribute
“2 years ago. Mrs C lifted the cup,” he wrote in the caption. Furthermore, the EastEnders baddie gave his love to all the cancer warriors out there. Then making a reference to October being cancer awareness months, he pointed that awareness does not end when the month does. And we could not agree more with the sentiment. These are conversations that need to be made as many times and as often as possible. He also added the hashtag Breast cancer in his caption. Thus, suggesting that was the kind his wife battled with.

Navin and his wife have been married for 12 years, and share two beautiful children together. The EastEnders actor had previously shared that “Mrs. C” had undergone breast cancer surgery earlier this year. It is heartening to see that Navin’s comment section soon flooded with messages of love and support from fans and friends. His EastEnders co-star William Ellis (Theo) also commented on the post. “Love and light to you and the family,” he wrote. Interestingly, William too, had recently opened up about a personal battle he faced when he and his wife lost their baby son.
When stars and celebrities become vocal about such issues in their lives, it sort of humanizes them. Moreover, it gives strength to fans who are going through similar experiences. Also, we would like to extend our love and prayers to anyone going through a tough phase. Meanwhile
