EASTENDERS icon Sharon Watts has made a dangerous decision about son Albie’s paternity.
The businesswoman – who is played by actress Letitia Dean in the BBC soap – discovered this week that her son Albie is not Keanu Taylor’s and is instead her ex husband Phil Mitchell’s son.
In tonight’s episode Sharon broke down in tears on the Square and was found sobbing by her brother Zack.
She opened up to him about Phil really being Albie’s biological father and was horrified at the prospect of raising a Mitchell son after what happened to Denny.
But having made her mind up about telling Phil the truth she headed over there.
However it wasn’t easy and she began working her way through a bottle of wine in front of the recovering alcoholic – putting him on edge.
And when it came down to it – she couldn’t get the words out.
The pair ended up rowing with Sharon storming out and seemingly deciding to keep the secret to herself so she could keep Keanu and Albie to herself.
But fans are predicting chaos for when the secret is inevitably revealed.
One wrote: “So Phil will find out at Christmas then I guess .”
A second said: “That conversation between phil and sharon just shows exactly why sharon doesn’t want to tell him albie’s his son. phil being phil i guess x.”
Another added: “We all know what going round to a guys house and guzzling a bottle of wine solo leads to Sharon… An argument.”
Meanwhile actress Letitia Dean has teased what’s to come in the shock storyline twist.
She said: “There is such a mutual respect between Sharon and Phil, and deep down I don’t think she could or would want to keep this news from him, but he also doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to parenting so she’s worried about the influence he could have on Albie.
“The stakes are so high as she could stand to lose Keanu if she admits the truth.”
The actress added: “This has come as a total shock for Sharon and right now she is planning to marry Keanu and Phil is happy with Kat.”
