EastEnders spoilers: Cindy wishes Bobby dead in cruel showdown
Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) has previously made her feelings about Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) very clear in EastEnders, but tonight’s (November 14) episode saw her refuse to hold back as she wished him dead.
Bobby’s life was left in danger in recent scenes when he ran into the burning café to try and put the fire out. At first it looked like he had succeeded, but when he went to turn the fuse box back on, not knowing that he had accidentally switched on the gas too, the whole place blew up.
With Bobby lying unconscious inside, brother Peter (Thomas Law) was quick to run in after him with Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley), but soon the pair were left trapped when the ceiling collapsed on them.
Having been taken to hospital following their ordeal, both Rocky and Bobby recovered, but the same can’t be said for poor Peter, who has been hooked up to a ventilator ever since.
This has left mum Cindy in complete turmoil, blaming everyone for what has happened and lashing out at those around her.
Having already had Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) arrested for the fire, Cindy found a new target in tonight’s episode in the form of Bobby.
Bobby has never been Cindy’s favourite person, given that he killed her only daughter, and tonight she couldn’t hold back her anger as he tried to offer her comfort.
As Bobby defended Kathy, he was shocked when Cindy admitted that she had been the one to report her to police, and was further taken back by the onslaught that followed.
Cindy was quick to point out that Peter had run into the fire after Bobby, meaning that, in her eyes, he was to blame, and having already lost Lucy, she wasn’t prepared to lose another child thanks to Bobby.
In her anger, she spat out that she would have left Bobby to burn, just as Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) turned the corner.
Following her harsh words, Cindy and Ian sat down together, and their conversation soon turned into another row, as Cindy let slip that she had spent the previous day with ex-husband George Knight (Colin Salmon).
Exasperated, Ian pointed out that with Cindy always spending time with her ex, and hating his family so much, then what really was the point of them being together?
Is this the end of the road for Cindy and Ian?
