EastEnders spoilers: Horror in Walford as killer Nish discovers Suki’s affair with Eve
EastEnders viewers will know that Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) are hopelessly in love with one another, but have had no choice but to keep their distance from each other following Vinny Panesar’s (Shiv Jalota) discovery of their affair.
However, upcoming scenes will show Suki finally open up about how unhappy she is, leading Vinny to give his blessing for her to leave Nish and be with Eve.
The only problem is that Eve is torn between a life with Suki and a life with new love interest Tessa.
Following Suki’s plea to Eve to give her another chance, she is horrified when Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) reveals that she knows the truth about her relationship.
In order to keep her quiet, Suki offers her £2000, but Priya won’t accept any less than £3000. Eager for her money, Priya makes it clear that she will grass Vinny up to Suki’s husband Nish (Navin Chowdhry) if Suki doesn’t play ball.
Desperate, Suki steals money from the call centre and agrees to meet Priya to hand it over, unaware that sinister Nish is watching her every move…
Before Suki can hand over the cash, Nish swoops in, questioning her on her motives.
Luckily for Suki, Priya spins a lie about her taking the money so that Priya and Avani (Aaliyah James) can look for a flat of their own after Nish and Priya’s kiss.
Nish isn’t happy with Priya having the money, and the women have no choice but to hand it back to him.
Despite sticking up for her with Nish, Priya still wants her money, and promises that she will tell all if she doesn’t get it.
With nowhere left to turn, Suki raids the Minute Mart till and manages to get her hands on £200, but that isn’t enough for Priya, who warns that she still intends to blab if she doesn’t get the full amount.
Unaware of what Suki has been up to, Vinny soon finds that the till is short by £200 and instantly goes running to Nish.
As Nish investigates the CCTV in order to find the culprit, he stumbles across something much more incriminating: Footage of Suki kissing Eve.
‘While trying to discover who is behind the theft he watches some CCTV footage in the Minute Mart to try and catch someone stealing money from the till,’ actor Navin Chowdhry explained.
‘On watching that footage he goes back and suddenly finds Eve and Suki together in the shop. He’s intrigued at what they might be talking about, and that’s when he sees them kiss.’
Nish is flooded with rage and begins to smash up the Minute Mart as the reality of what he has just seen sinks in.
‘His anger is so off the scale – it might be the angriest we have ever seen him. It is the biggest event and blow that we’ve encountered on screen for him. He has a rage in the shop and smashes it up as he’s on the war path.’
On the way back to No.41, Nish is stopped by Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), who takes him over to Walford East to get cleaned up. While they’re alone, Nish reveals all, before heading back home to find out the truth…
‘He bumps into Ravi who tries to calm him down and his first port of call is to look Suki in the eye. We know what this man is capable of, he has killed because of jealousy before, and now his motivations are clearly as they were 20 years ago.
‘He’s been presented with an event that caused him to go to jail 20 years ago and I think everyone knows he’s not going to handle it any differently. He’s prepared to kill for the love of his life.’
What will he find when he gets home, and how will he proceed? Could this prove dangerous for Suki or Eve – or both?
