EastEnders spoilers: Sharon fears Linda will blow her baby secret to Phil as the truth explodes
Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) has been harbouring the huge secret that Albie is not actually Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) son, but Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) in EastEnders.
However, when she confides in best friend Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) in upcoming scenes, she fears that her secret may fall into the wrong hands.
Since doing a home DNA kit while pregnant with Albie, Sharon has believed that Keanu was his dad, so received a huge shock in recent episodes when she discovered that Phil was actually the father.
So far, she has only confided in brother Zack Hudson (James Farrar) about Albie’s true paternity, but she is set to expand her circle of trust in upcoming episodes.
Ahead of Sharon and Keanu’s hen and stag do’s, the couple recover from a dramatic day in the Queen Vic, and Sharon remains determined to do whatever it takes to maintain the happiness of her family
However, as the day of the parties dawns, the guilt of her secret is weighing heavy on Sharon.
As the pair prepare to celebrate their last moments of freedom, Sharon burns a letter from the hospital detailing Albie’s paternity.
‘I think if Keanu was to ever find out, his whole world would be crushed. It would be so devastating and heart-breaking,’ actor Danny Walters explained, perfectly summing up why Sharon will go to such great lengths to keep her secret.
However, if there is one person she should be able to confide in, then it is best friend Linda, and Sharon soon does exactly that.
It is a lot for Linda to take on, given that she is already dealing with some serious problems of her own in the form of rapist Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo).
As Sharon tries to put on a brave face at her party, she worries that Linda may expose the truth.
Thankfully, Linda promises to keep Sharon’s secret.
But will she manage it?
The next day, Sharon bumps into Linda before sharing a tense conversation with Phil’s wife Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace).
Has Linda told Phil everything?
Sharon’s wedding day is set to end in complete disaster as one Walford man ends up dead on the Queen Vic floor.
Could Sharon’s secret come out and send Keanu into a furious rage, leaving The Six with no choice but to fight back, potentially killing him?
Or could Sharon kill Phil to stop him ever finding out the truth?
So many questions…
