EastEnders spoilers: Worrying development as obsessed Denzel Danes takes a serious health risk
Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) is set to take a serious health risk in upcoming EastEnders scenes following a dramatic gang incident.
When Denzel is surrounded by bully Logan’s gang of friends outside McClunky’s, he is horrified when Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) rushes over to help, only to trip and injure herself in the process.
To make matters worse, Logan’s cronies have filmed the incident, leaving Denzel ashamed and embarrassed that he couldn’t do more to help her.
When Nugget Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) starts to tease him about the video, Denzel lashes out, leading Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) to force Nugget to apologise.
Determined to help the lads channel their emotions in a healthier way, Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) invites them to The Boxing Den.
Ahead of his sparring session with Nugget, Denzel seeks comfort from girlfriend Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) over his altercation with Logan, fearing he isn’t buff enough.
After a few rounds of sparring with Nugget, Denzel is eager to try his luck with a more experienced opponent, and asks George Knight (Colin Salmon) if he can get in the ring with fighter Rufus.
However, obsessed Denzel takes things too far, and soon George has no choice but to pull him out of the ring and give him a pep talk about how to manage his emotions and build his strength.
Denzel new interest in fitness soon causes issues within his relationship, when Amy starts to feel neglected.
She takes umbrage to the fact that he is so engrossed in an influencer’s fitness videos that he neglects her, and is further infuriated when he declines her offer of dinner in favour of going to the gym.
Is Denzel’s obsession set to become unhealthy?
