EASTENDERS actress Maisie Smith has confessed that she is desperate to return to the BBC show amid a flurry of star comebacks.
A number of famous faces have returned to the set of the soap including Michelle Collins and Matt Di Angelo.
Now, Maisie has admitted that she is already eyeing up another stint as Tiffany Butcher after the head honcho of Walford confirmed there was even more comebacks to occur.
The 22 year old opened up to OK! Magazine about her plans and confessed to them that she is “sure” she’ll be back.
Maisie said: “I’ve been there since I was six years old – it’s not a show that people ever leave.
“Someone dies, someone gets married, or someone boils a cup of tea – I’m sure I’ll be back at some point.”
Maisie was last seen on screens in 2022 when she departed the show, alongside on-screen hubby Keegan Baker (Zack Morris), for good.
After a testing time in their marriage, the loved-up young couple decided to get out of Albert Square with each other.
Having had a brief split for six months, Maisie returned as Tiffany to collect her man as they both quit the show and their characters moved to.
Despite her hopes to go back to the show, Maisie has remained in demand since she quit EastEnders.
Following a stint on Strictly Come Dancing, the star continued to show she had the moves when she played the lead role in Strictly Ballroom: The Musical alongside ex pro, Kevin Clifton.
She also took part inSAS: Who Dares Wins as well as treating herself to a series of luxury getaways with her boyfriend, The Wanted singer Max George.
