The post comes after the actress was spotted on a night out alongside notorious road rage killer Kenneth Noye earlier this month. She was pictured at a bar and in a private box with the convicted killer as they watched Elvis Live on Screen with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.

The actress previously sparked a rift with senior bosses on the show when she was arrested for allegedly attacking a police officer outside a nightclub back in June 2022. A BBC spokesperson told the Mirror at the time: “Senior bosses have spoken to Jessie Wallace about the incident and issued a clear warning that this kind of behaviour is unacceptable and Jessie has expressed her deep regret.”

On the show, viewers witnessed Alfie Moon come clean about his cancer to ex-wife Kat. The former pub landlord initially lied to her about his cancer after being diagnosed in August – and claimed he got the all-clear. But the truth eventually came out after Alfie got in a fight with Phil before the hardman was set to marry Kat.

The BBC soap is working alongside Prostate Cancer UK and Macmillan Cancer Support on the storyline. Executive producer Chris Clenshaw explained: “When we first embarked on this storyline we knew it was imperative that we worked alongside Prostate Cancer UK and Macmillan Cancer Support to take on and accurately portray such an emotional and pivotal storyline for Alfie, and one that many viewers may relate to.

He added: “Shane has thoughtfully portrayed the realities of being diagnosed with prostate cancer with grace and understanding. We hope that this storyline resonates with the audience and that we represent it as sensitively, and as accurately as possible.”
