PRIYA Nandra-Hart rocked up Albert Square in a shocking twist, leaving soap viewers stunned.
However, one EastEnders character is more irritated than anything else as the newcomer gets closer to Nish Panesar.
BBC One viewers were introduced to Nugget Gulati’s mother for the first time on Monday, October 16, 2023, as the lad was finally found alive and well after going missing for several weeks.
Sophie Khan-Levy has taken on the new role but her arrival leaves Suki Panesar (played by Balvinder Sopal) fearing for her marriage.
In scenes airing next week, both women butt heads on their different values as they both try to one up each other.
Priya then attempts to get Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) on side by flirting as the pair go clothes shopping.
In later scenes, Suki is shocked at Nish’s new look, but how will he react?
Things don’t get any better between Priya and Suki as they continue to irritate each other.
Nish doesn’t help them get along and, instead, helps tension grow by giving Priya a job in the Minute Mart.
Could Suki fire her on the spot?
Diehard fans of the London-based drama will also remember that Suki herself has had her own affair with Eve Unwin (Heather Peace).
The pair kept viewers on the edge of their seats as they all rooted for “Sukeve” and both lovebirds were plotting their escape from Albert Square – but most importantly Nish’s control.
But just as things were starting to look up for both Suki and Eve, and after multiple ups and downs, the illicit couple had to call it quits.
Suki was found unconscious at the bottom of her stairs and her abusive husband was blamed for her demise.
When her son Vinny figured out she’d cheated on Nish with Eve, the businesswoman knew her time was up and the couple called it quits once and for all.
But could Nish getting into his own secret romance convince Suki it’s time for her to leave him?
Could she be convinced to get involved with Eve again?
