Eve and Suki Panesar make life-changing decision in EastEnders – and there’s trouble ahead
The couple are making things official in Albert Square.
THINGS are finally aligning for Suki Panesar and Eve Unwin after a string of troubled months.
The EastEnders fan favourite couple make a huge decision about their relationship in scenes airing next week. How will it go?
For several months, Suki Panesar (portrayed by Balvinder Sopal) played a game of push and pull with her lover Eve Unwin (Heather Peace).
Despite being able to silence her feelings for the sake of her marriage and family with Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry), Suki was soon caught up with them and had no other choice but to face them head on.
Suki and Eve were finally able to make a go of things as the year 2023 drew to a close and they’re determined to make their fresh start happen.
Coming up next week on BBC One, Eve starts moving Suki’s belongings in the Slater house, at No.31.
But while things appear to finally be on the right track, there may be another nasty surprise ahead for the couple.
Suki was involved in a blood-curdling murder mystery on Christmas Day as Keanu Taylor was stabbed to death by Linda Carter in The Vic with Denise Fox, Stacey Slater, Kathy Beale and Sharon Watts witnessing the scene.
The hunk was then dumped at Kathy’s café, which as left completely destroyed by a fire in late 2023.
Next week, builders arrive at the café to begin the restoration work, throwing Kathy (Gillian Taylforth), Suki, Stacey (Lacey Turner) and Linda (Kellie Bright) into a panic.
As Suki desperately tries to stall them, Linda – who is just arriving back – begins unravelling in public as she struggles with her guilt… and her alcohol addiction.
Stacey offers Linda a shoulder to cry on but reminds her that all their futures rely on her staying sober and keeping it together.
Later, Suki convinces the builders to temporarily down tools, but she and the rest of the women need to move the body fast, or they’ll be found out.
As they talk tactics, Suki gets a call that could change everything.
What will it be?
Could Suki living in Stacey’s home help the Six keep their secret?
EastEnders airs from Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
