Get it off my screen!’ fume EastEnders fans as they rumble Gina Knight’s ‘sickening’ link to rapist Dean Wicks
Gina told Dean she couldn't stop thinking about him, leaving fans horrified.
EASTENDERS fans have been left fuming after rumbling Gina Knight’s ‘sickening’ link to rapist Dean Wicks.
Dean – played by Matt Di Angelo – returned to Albert Square in October last year, much to Linda Carter’s horror.
Dean raped Linda (Kellie Bright) in 2014 but has always denied any wrongdoing and in a twisted scene, he got Linda to falsely say he hadn’t raped her, which he then played to her loved ones and friends.
After that, Linda’s step-sister Gina – played by Francesca Henry – believed Dean over her, and has gradually grown closer to him ever since.
During Monday’s episode, EastEnders viewers saw texts between Gina and Dean where she told him she couldn’t stop thinking about him.
They then met up in the alley way near the pub, where she told him they would need to take things slow considering how most people in Walford feel about him.+
But EastEnders viewers were not impressed by what they saw, and hoped to God that Gina had an ulterior motive to growing close to Dean.
Taking to X – formerly Twitter – one wrote: “This has to be a trap by Gina, it just has to be, surely.”
Another added: “Still debating whether Gina is playing Dean or actually being serious.”
But others were furious with Gina for being attracted to Dean, with one writing: “Get Dean and Gina off my screen and keep it that way.”+
Another shared: “These scenes between Gina & Dean are so sickening. Good God I hope she knows what she is doing.”
A fellow viewer added: “How Gina can turn against Linda like this after all the support she gave to her at first over her R*** is disgusting?”
