Is Bobby Beale leaving EastEnders and does he die in café fire twist?
EastEnders fans have been left worried for Bobby Beale after the horrifying fire at Kathy's café, which left three characters at risk on the BBC soap
EastEnders’ Bobby Beale is at risk of dying after being caught up in Kathy’s café fire horror.
The much-loved character – played by Clay Milner Russell – has had a rough few months on the BBC soap, with the sudden return of his brother Peter Beale alongside his dad Ian Beale. Ian had reconnected with Cindy Beale but after what he did to his sister Lucy, he has found it tough to gel with the family up until very recently when Cindy put out an olive branch.
At the end of last night’s episode, we saw Rocky head into the café and set about his plan to mess with the electrics and cause a fire in the café in the hope they could claim the money from the insurance for Rocky to pay off his debts.

Spoilers released last week confirmed Bobby will get caught in the fire horror. As Rocky manages to start the fire, he heads over to Walford East to meet Kathy for his date. On the way, he is stopped by Harvey who questions him where he’s been.
Rocky keeps quiet about his actions, but Harvey isn’t convinced. A panicked Bobby – seeing the fire blazing in the café – rushes to try and fix things, but it explodes and an unconscious Bobby ends up trapped inside. Will he be ok, or will he die?

Whilst he initially manages to extinguish the fire, he goes to try turn the lights on and everything explodes, leaving a fire raging through the café with Bobby trapped inside. Vinny heads to the restaurant to tell Kathy and Rocky what has happened, whilst Peter runs out into the Square to see the horror blaze before him.
Realising Bobby may be trapped inside, a brave Peter decides he has no choice but to run in after his brother, with Rocky following him too as they try and pull the rubble off Bobby in the hope of getting him out there. As they do, the ceiling collapses over them and they’re all stuck inside, with a terrified Kathy screaming for three of the most important people in her life.
The firefighters arrived to try and rescue the three of them, with the rest of Walford looking on full of worry. Will Bobby, Peter and Rocky be ok, or will they die after being caught up in the devastating café fire? All three are rushed to hospital and whilst Rocky wakes up, Kathy tells him that Bobby and Peter are both in intensive care and it looks like it could be the end of the road for both brothers.
