Kellie Bright reveals the shocking truth as Linda Carter gets a text from dead husband Mick
Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) is set to receive the biggest shock of all in EastEnders when childhood sweetheart Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) seemingly gets in touch.
Mick, as viewers will recall, went missing at sea last Christmas, diving in after Linda to try and save her from a sinking car, which Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) had previously driven off a cliff.
The landlord was unaware that Linda, his beloved soulmate, had already made it safely to shore.
Mick hasn’t been seen since, nor has his body ever been recovered, with Linda receiving a certificate of presumed death earlier this year in emotional scenes.
However, the Queen Vic landlady is set to be shaken to the core when her ‘dead’ lover contacts her in upcoming scenes.
After a dramatic day which sees Linda and Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) head out to pick up her wedding dress, Sharon is left questioning whether her wedding is cursed, and Linda is soon giving her words of encouragement in the hopes that she will still go ahead with the big day.

Things only get worse from there, as Linda ends up having a run-in with Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo), who has made her life a misery since his return.
Dean traumatised Linda when he raped her in 2014, and has since tormented her further by forcing her to lie about the ordeal in controversial scenes.
Kellie Bright has discussed the upcoming scenes, confirming that Linda’s ordeal goes from bad to worse when she receives the mysterious text from her former flame.
‘Well it’s Mick. Da da da!,’ said Kellie, discussing who the text allegedly came from. ‘She gets a text from Mick, or so she thinks.
‘It’s not Mick. Three guesses, who do you think it is? It’s Dean.’
