Six EastEnders legends could be unmasked as Christmas killer – only one knows who
By filming multiple endings, producers have even kept their stars in the dark
One of six screen sirens is set to be revealed as a killer in Christmas Day’s EastEnders – and not only is the mystery a whodunnnit, soap fans don’t even yet know who they dunnit to.
All viewers have seen in a flashforward scene is the body of an unknown man at the Queen Vic. Also there were Denise Fox, Kathy Beale, Linda Carter, Sharon Watts, Suki Panesar and Stacey Slater. The episode will round off a storyline dubbed Sixmas that the BBC One soap began in February.
EastEnders episodes have been full of omens such as a jukebox with the letters of DEATH pushed in, bells tolling and candles everywhere. By filming multiple endings, producers have even kept their stars in the dark. So here we try to work out who’s a real femme fatale.

Denise
Denise (Diane Parish) really hasn’t had much luck and could easily be pushed over the edge. Her steamy hotel visit with lover-turned enemy, Ravi, had disastrous consequences for her marriage with Jack. Not only did she discover Jack slept with Stacey, but she has been blackmailed by Ravi, who seduced her and her daughter Chelsea.

Could Ravi or Jack be in the line of fire? Or should that be, at the nasty end of a broken champagne bottle? Denise is seen clutching the possible murder weapon as she stands near the body. Diane said: “She is close to 10 on how much she hates Ravi. He’s asking for it!”
Kathy
Has Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) finally snapped? After decades of bad luck in romance, her latest husband Rocky really could push her to murder. He lied to her, blew up her beloved café, left grandson Peter fighting for his life, then tricked her into selling her business to blackmailer Nish under false pretences.

Kathy also had to deal with Rocky’s psycho ex-wife, after he failed to mention he was married. Gillian says: “She’s got to the end of her tether.” So is this the nail in the coffin for Rocky? Or for Nish? In the trailer, a murderous-looking Kathy chops the heads off tulips. Foreshadowing – or foreplanning?
Linda
Linda’s world was turned upside down when Dean Wicks made a sinister return to Walford on Halloween. With Dean showing no signs of remorse for raping her, will his actions catch up with him before Linda (Kellie Bright) does? She lives in terror of what he will do next and, having already suffered the trauma of losing ex-husband Mick Carter this year, the recovering alcoholic is on the edge.

We’ve already seen her threaten him with a massive kitchen knife. In the trailer, Linda is scrubbing the floor upstairs – and she has a split lip. Has she got into a fight? Is that blood she’s cleaning away?
Sharon
Star-crossed lovers Sharon and Keanu prepare to finally say ‘I do’ but both are hiding massive secrets – Keanu staged Albie’s kidnap and Phil is the young boy’s biological dad. When Sharon (Letitia Dean) discovers Keanu was behind Albie’s kidnapping, will it be enough to kill? “I think she would kill for her children,” says Letitia. “But whoever it is, I think the Six will cover each other’s backs.”

She once tried to poison Ian for his part in her son Denny’s death. Or could she kill long-time love Phil to protect Albie? Before the murder, Sharon toasts: “To men, may they get what they deserve!” Then we see her with blood on her wedding dress.
Stacey
After a stalker ordeal, Stacey (Lacey Turner) is about to find herself embroiled with another man. Having killed Archie Mitchell in the exact same spot almost 14 years ago, is history about to repeat itself? Lacey says Stacey couldn’t kill someone in the same place twice but on EastEnders, anything can happen.

Would Stacey commit murder after finding out Ravi and Nish had something to do with her friend Eve’s disappearance? In a trailer, she applies lipstick in a cracked mirror that reads: “Everything changes.” And let’s not forget, on Christmas Day she is standing in the pub, her hands covered in blood.
Suki
Businesswoman Suki (Balvinder Sopal) is set to hit rock bottom after news of Eve’s “death” reaches Albert Square. Believing that controlling husband Nish and murderous stepson Ravi are responsible, Suki will stop at nothing to make sure revenge is served… And we know Suki isn’t squeaky clean after previously pretending to have cancer to manipulate her children.

Balvinder says: “I think you push someone far enough and you are capable. If someone comes for your family… I think you could.” Suki has two men in her sights – so could there be a double murder? In the trailer, Suki is seen fleeing the Square. Why would the innocent run?
