Strictly’s Bobby and Dianne get packed lunches made for them by his famous father
EXCLUSIVE: Bobby Brazier's dad Jeff Brazier has revealed that he's making packed lunches for his EastEnders star son and his Strictly Come Dancing parter Dianne Buswell
Bobby Brazier still gets packed lunches made by his dad Jeff.
The EastEnders actor has been taking them to his training sessions with Strictly partner Dianne Buswell, 34. Jeff, 44, said: “I’m not ashamed to admit I’m still making packed lunches for Bobby. He’s burning about a million calories every day, so I just feel what I can do to help him and Dianne is to make sure they go in with a big Tupperware container full of stuff that’s going to fuel them.”
Bobby, 20, has been wowing fans and judges with his routines. Jeff added: “We’re very proud of him and love watching him embark on this very early path.” Bobby and his brother Freddy both still live at home with their dad.
Jeff said: “I don’t think there’s any chance they’re going anywhere just yet. They’ve either both got it too easy or it’s because it’s just lovely living together. Bobby and Dianne will tango to David Bowie hit Fashion on the show this Saturday, which starts at 6.30pm on BBC One.
He told The Mirror: “I could speak about Dianne all day. She’s just a diamond – you know what, I’m falling in love with her. She’s just great. I feel very lucky.” He also admitted he doesn’t get too nervous before taking to the ballroom to dance.
“I always feel like on Saturday it’s going to be just fine,” he said. “No matter the state of it on Wednesday or Thursday. I’m excited to learn a different dance this week, I think that’s the best part of the show.”
Bobby also confessed he’s “probably” not listening to judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse when they give him their feedback. He leaves it up to Dianne to explain their critiques afterwards.
He said: “I’m so high on the moment and I’m probably not even listening. I’m just waiting for Dianne to just retell me what they were saying.”

Bobby and Dianne bagged an impressive 32 points from the panel during the live show on Saturday (October 7). The pair performed a Romeo and Juliet-inspired Samba for Movie Week and it clearly went down a storm as every judge gave them eight points.
Dianne is in a relationship with boyfriend Joe Sugg, 32, who she met on the show back in 2018. Dianne and Joe were dance partners and made it all the way to the final. The pair went public with their relationship shortly after the series. They have now been together for five years.
