Who dies? 67 EastEnders Christmas pictures tease outcome of The Six murder story as male victim is claimed and life changes forever

EastEnders spoilers and pictures for the week we’ve all been waiting for are right here for your enjoyment, with a jam-packed gallery previewing all of the twists to come over Christmas.

The BBC One soap is always unmissable during the festive season, but this year there has been more anticipation than ever following February’s historic flashforward sequence, which confirmed a death on Christmas Day.

Basically, everyone has been talking about it since, with viewers speculating and making predictions about who will perish, making it one of soap’s biggest mysteries of all time.

But after a long 10 months, Christmas is almost upon us, which means we’re just days away from finding out who it is that dies.

The big day kicks off with Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) and Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) wedding, with the bride and groom-to-be arriving at the church to say ‘I do’.

Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden), however, could throw a spanner in the works as, after receiving an unexpected visitor, he heads to the wedding and arrives just moments before the happy couple are due to be announced husband and wife.

The question is: will the ceremony go ahead? Or will Sharon find out the truth about Keanu’s role in Albie’s kidnap?

I’m keeping shtum on what happens next, but what I can tell you is that the events of the day, in typical Walford fashion, lead to Sharon joining Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Denise Fox (Diane Parish), Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) for a drink in the Vic.

The matriarchs discuss what has transpired but none of them could have predicted what happens next, with The Six’s lives changed forever as a Walford resident meets his demise.

As for who it is, you’re just going to have to tune in on Christmas Day at 9:45pm to find out. But trust me, you don’t want to miss it.

It’s going to be a Christmas that Walford never forgets.

Away from the murder storyline, Christmas is an emotional one for the Mitchell clan, who are set to receive a surprise video message from Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold), who reveals that Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) and Honey (Emma Barton) are both running the London Marathon.

Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) and Zack Hudson (James Farrar), meanwhile, tend to foster child Ashton in the middle of the night, which leads to conflict for the couple.

EastEnders airs these scenes between Monday, December 25 and Thursday, December 29 at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
