EastEnders spoilers for next week follow, with a dramatic look at the events to come above in our action-packed gallery.

Dean Wicks’ (Matt Di Angelo) ill daughter Jade arrives in the Square and rejects her dad’s attempts to comfort her.

Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), meanwhile, struggles with Lee (Danny Hatchard) and Nancy (Maddy Hill) not coming home for Christmas and when she sees a picture of Dean dressed as Santa in Ollie’s company she races to Beale’s Eels where she lets rip at him.

Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters), who has a run-in with Dean during the week in question, tells Jade that her dad is a sexual predator. Dean, in typical Dean fashion, tries to lie his way out of this one but once that fails and Jade leaves, he makes a beeline for The Vic.

But just what hideous revenge plot does he have up his sick sleeve?

Elsewhere in the Square, Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) contemplates telling the truth about everything but just as he sets out to do so, Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) admits that she’s selling the cafe to Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry).

After she does so, Nish can’t resist stirring the pot, implying Rocky was to blame for the fire. Kathy is devastated and wastes little time in confronting Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman), who all but confirms her suspicions.

Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) is touched when Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) buys Christmas presents for her children following a discussion about her lack of funds, but there’s more trauma ahead when she receives a Christmas card from Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis), who she reckons is behind Eve’s disappearance.
