I’m A Celebrity’s Danielle Harold drops love life bombshell as EastEnders star shares relationship status ahead of show
The soap star has recently been linked to her co-star Jamie Borthwick
I’M A Celebrity star Danielle Harold has dropped a huge love life bombshell ahead of her jungle stint.
The actress, who is best known for playing Lola Pearce on EastEnders, is one of the 12 famous faces taking part in this year’s series of the ITV show.
The soap star is excited for viewers to get to know the real her – and she’s not interested in looking for a man.
Danielle said: “It’s definitely going to be nice to be myself and just
have fun.
“The parts I have been playing have involved heavy stuff and to
just be me is exciting.
“I am single and no ‘I am not looking for love’!”
It comes after the star sparked romance rumours with former co-star Jamie Borthwick as they went out on a ‘date night’.
The pair fuelled romance rumours once again earlier this year after they were spotted spending a lot of time together during Danielle’s final few months on EastEnders.
Addressing the rumours, Danielle told Fabulous magazine: “I always say Jamie is the husband I never wanted or asked for, but nonetheless got.
“Seriously though, there’s no one like that at the moment. But I’ve been so busy, it’s probably for the best.”
Danielle was involved in a very intense storyline on EastEnders over the past year, which saw her play out the death of her character Lola.
The star thinks that going into the jungle will be “so much tougher” than anything she’s done as an actress.
Danielle added: “It’s been a crazy, crazy year and so why not top it off
with the craziest thing ever by doing this?!
“It’s definitely a shock to the system and I am both excited
and nervous.
“This is so much tougher than anything or any role I have ever done before as it is all so new.”
“It’s going to be interesting to see how I face up to my fears.”
The star has one fear that she’s not looking forward to coming face to face with – rats.
She continued: “I particularly don’t like rats. I have seen rats out
in London and I hate them.
“It’s the thought of their teeth. People say they won’t harm me but I am like, ‘Have they been to the dentist?!’ I am so scared of
them.”
“I am not sure, however, how I will be with spiders or heights yet. I am ok when I go on an aeroplane but I have never walked out on anything with nothing underneath before!”
