And despite only having basic rations in the camp, Danielle arrived Down Under with four huge matching suitcases which her team struggled to fit in a waiting car.

Danielle joked with The Sun that she was in Australia “to come surfing with Nigel Farage”.

She laughed: “I’m just here for some surfing with Nigel Farage! I heard this is a really good spot for some surfing. I’ll give it a go, I’ll give it a go. Listen me and Nigel come every year you know.”

She added that she was excited to get a real tan and not have to worry about fake tan and glam while in the jungle.

“I’m actually excited to get out of here and see how hot it is. I’m buzzing! There’s no need for fake tan and glam! The glam’s gone. The glam has gone!”

Back in September we revealed that Danielle Harold was in talks to appear on I’m A Celebrity.

Fans were heartbroken as her character, Lola Pearce, passed away in May from a terminal brain tumour in a heartbreaking storyline.

The 31-year-old Eastenders actress received huge plaudits and went onto win the gong for Serial Drama Performance at this year’s National Television Awards.

A telly source said: “Danielle is at the height of her career and in demand after her moving storyline on EastEnders, but she’s really caught the eye of ITV bosses to appear in the upcoming series of the jungle.

“As well as being a talented actress with a huge fanbase, Danielle has a fun personality with a wicked sense of humour, which makes her the ideal campmate for the show.

Danielle will join the full I’m A Celebrity 2023 line-up in camp this weekend, with politicians, influencers and daytime stars being thrown into the nation’s most famous camp.

Ant and Dec will welcome the latest stars brave enough to tackle stomach-churning bushtucker trials and terrifying challenges on Sunday November 19.

And this year’s show is set to be one of the best yet with twelve top names from the worlds of Westminster, Albert Square and even the MasterChef kitchen.

ITV appears to have upped the ante on its famous Bushtucker Trials too, with The Sun’s exclusive footage showing the Walk The Plank challenge has received a devilish makeover.
