EastEnders’ Letitia Dean has young men giving her ‘strange looks’ after toyboy romance
Despite all the drama happening in EastEnders’ Sharon and Keanu’s relationship - the couple isn’t afraid to get down and dirty with Letitia Dean admitting she is “very blessed”
EastEnders’ Letitia Dean has had her fair share of on-screen romps with toy boy Keanu Taylor – and she doesn’t seem to mind at all.
The acting icon plays Sharon Watts on the long-running BBC soap – making her debut back in 1985. Since then, she’s become a firm favourite with viewers and has been involved in several dramatic storylines.
The blonde bombshell is also no stranger to a saucy on-screen moment during her run on the soap. Not to mention, the character’s slew of relationships, love triangles and affairs.
Over in the soap at the moment, Sharon is gearing up to marry Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters). The duo struck up a romance in 2018 when they embarked on an affair behind Phil and Louise Mitchell’s backs.
Despite all the drama the couple have faced, Sharon and Keanu are not afraid to get down dirty. From romping in Phil’s bed with some kinky handcuffs, to doing the dead on the Mitchell’s kitchen table – the pair are it at like rabbits in the BBC soap.
And it seems Letita doesn’t mind the steamy scenes with a younger co-star. Speaking to Heat magazine in 2020, she recalled the reaction she received from fans after her on-screen bonks with Keanu.
She joked: “I got a lot of, ‘You lucky b*stard!’ And I was. I’ve been very blessed with my young leading men. But they’ve all been lovely and Danny, who plays Keanu, he was great to work with and very respectful to the older lady!”
What’s more, it turns out that thanks to her sizzling romps with Keanu, Letitia keeps getting eyed up by younger men. And it even happens when she pops to the corner shop.
She told the Metro in 2019: “Well, sometimes when I pop into my local little OneStop, I get some very strange looks from young boys, but the people that I’ve seen in my little quiet life have really enjoyed it.”

When quizzed on what it’s like to film the romps, she added: “Very trying! Looking up into those beautiful eyes.”
Letitia went on: “Danny, on a serious note, was so respectful and lovely — and I just couldn’t believe my luck, really, because he’s such a lovely bloke. I loved doing it — I loved working with Danny very much — it was really exciting for me.”
