EastEnders fans ‘work out’ how Brian Conley exits soap – after spotting clues in latest episode
It is not the only fan theory to be surrounding Rocky's impending exit
EASTENDERS fans have been left assured they know how Brian Conley’s character Rocky will exit the soap in the coming weeks.
A series of hints appear to have been dropped following on from the show’s epic Christmas Day murder and The Six cover-up.
The BBC soap had fans watching on the edges of their seats as it was revealed that Linda Carter, played by Kellie Bright, was the EastEnders killer after she brutally stabbed Keanu Taylor.
One man who was in the frame to be the body on the floor was Rocky Cotton, played by Brian Conley.
Brian confirmed his exit from the show earlier this year and he is expected to depart within weeks.
It led many to speculate that he could have been the body on the floor on Christmas Day but now theory has gone in a completely different direction.
Sonia Fowler, played by Natalie Cassidy, appeared to foreshadow a particularly scary and bleak future for Rocky.
An interesting choice of words has fuelled speculation that Rocky could FREEZE to death in an upcoming plot.
Having been left by Kathy Beale and abandoned by almost everyone around him, Rocky was left all alone and with no hope on Christmas Day.
Fans saw him stumbling around the Square after hitting the bottle as The Six attempted to cover-up their crime.
In the latest episode of the show, Sonia discovered a drunken Rocky seemingly asleep in the doorway as snow fell down.
Stunned, she said: “Rocky, what are you doing out here?
“You’ll catch a death!”
It has sparked speculation that Rocky could die out in the cold this winter.
One person said: “I reckon Rocky’s will be an accident, due to him being so drunk he get hypothermia and collapses in the cold.”
Another added: “Maybe Rocky dies from hypothermia as he’s lost his key and he is outside in the snow and drunk.”
A third went on to say: “On top of all the other shit they have to deal with, Rocky’s gonna die of hypothermia out in that snow ain’t he?”
Before a fourth penned: “Genuinely thought rocky was gonna do a Pauline Fowler and die in the snow.”
Elsewhere, some fans think that he will be implicated in The Six’s cover-up.
After almost disturbing the moving of the body and Rocky seemingly having shot a glance at Sharon entering the cafe, could he find himself framed for the incident.
One fan said: “I wonder if Rocky will be framed now that he’s turned up.”
A second echoed: “Is Rocky gonna go in and end up getting framed in the storyline or something?”
Rocky’s life is currently in the gutter after it was revealed that her was an arsonist who was desperate for cash after developing a gambling habit.
Having set fire to the cafe, he left Peter and Bobby Beale for dead in the blaze and soon his web of lies were exposed to wife Kathy.
Calling off their marriage, Kathy has wiped her hands of her ex and even trashed his name when speaking to her fellow Six ladies.
