Over Christmas, fans finally learned the events of Christmas Day and who died, as well as who the killer was. All became clear as an attack on Nish by Denise to save Suki happened as he dragged his wife towards the doors as she tried to end their marriage, which led to him being declared dead. But in a twist, Nish was revived by Suki, only for Keanu to walk in and see the scene.
Keanu made a run for it to get Sharon’s son Albie from upstairs, and as the pair fought out the back of the pub he began to strangle her. Linda grabbed a knife and stabbed Keanu in the back to get him off of Sharon, resulting in his brutal death.

Viewers have seen the six characters come up with a story as to the events of that evening, as Nish continues to fight for his life in hospital. For now, Keanu’s body is hidden under the floor of the burnt out café, but it’s only a matter of time before his death risks being exposed.
In upcoming scenes, Suki is spooked when Priya reveals that the builders may have to re-lay the foundations of the café, and heads to No.41 to persuade Nish to reconsider turning the café into flats. Nish surprisingly agrees but the biggest shock comes when Denise arrives, could she risk their secret being exposed?
Later in the week, Denise arranges a last-minute couples counselling session with Jack but the events of Christmas are still weighing heavily on her. Meanwhile, Kathy calls a crisis meeting in The Vic barrel store to talk about Denise but the women are left even more concerned when Suki shares news about Denise’s visit to Nish.
Over at therapy, Jack is rattled when it’s clear Denise isn’t listening. Later, Jack heads out for air after a heated chat with Denise, where he bumps into Stacey who feigns interest for information on Denise. The pair share a charged moment as it’s clear there are still feelings there… could their affair restart?
In a bid for more comfort, Denise attends the community church group after a heart-to-heart with Yolande, and is pleasantly surprised by how comforting she finds it.
