BBC EastEnders’ Denise Fox exit ‘sealed’ in dark betrayal as The Six turn against her
EastEnders' Denise Fox was left alone and outnumbered in the latest episode of the BBC soap, as Kathy Beale and the rest of The Six made it clear she was at risk of going down for Keanu Taylor's murder
EastEnders viewers saw Kathy Beale threaten to frame Denise Fox as Keanu Taylor’s killer in the latest episode.
As Denise continued to fall apart, the discovery that she had left evidence at the scene of Keanu’s grave left her panicked. But as she turned to the rest of The Six for help, her behaviour only pushed them further away.
It was clear they had turned on her, as they united against her plan to dig up Keanu’s body, just hours after they concealed it under the floor of the café. The problem was, Denise’s distinctive necklace had seemingly fallen into the grave after she was pushed to the floor by Stacey Slater.
It was only after they’d fled from the café after reburying the corpse, covering the hole in the ground with cement, that Denise realised her necklace was missing. As she worked out it had to have fallen under the floor beside the body, she knew full well there was now clear evidence that she was linked to his murder and burial.

If Keanu’s body is found, her necklace will also be uncovered. Denise broke down as she declared to the others that they needed to dig up the body yet again to retrieve her jewellery.
Kathy, Stacey Slater, Suki Panesar and Linda Carter all said it was too risky, after they’d managed to get away with the crime so far, and had not been caught burying the corpse the first or second time. With builders now working on the burnt out building, they knew it would look dodgy if they broke open the cement covered floor, and then fixed it up again.
Concerned someone would be suspicious and it might be redone, they told Denise that they had to risk leaving the necklace where it was, not wanting he body to be found. Of course viewers know that Linda was the one who killed Keanu on Christmas Day, stabbing him as he attempted to strangle his partner Sharon Watts, another member of The Six.

Denise was furious though, knowing full well she was the only one with evidence at the scene that would link her to the crime. So when she begged the women to help her and started hammering at the concrete, she was left rocked when they all turned on her and refused to do anything about the necklace.
Instead, Kathy threatened Denise to stay silent and said that if she did not stay in line, she was going to dig up the body herself and let the police find the necklace with the corpse. Not only that, but she vowed she would frame Denise for the crime and ensure that she went down for it and none of the others.
Denise was clearly shocked by this and feared for her safety, especially knowing the necklace would remain there. But given Kathy’s threat and the rest of the women backing her, is this a sign that Denise will be framed and could soon be headed out of Walford? If they did set her up for the crime, might she tell the police what really happened that night?
