Kim Fox and Howie Danes (Tameka Empson and Delroy Atkinson) have overcome huge obstacles in their relationship over the last year, but they may be set to hit a rocky patch again in upcoming EastEnders scenes.
When Kim ended up injuring Howie’s son Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) in a serious car accident last year, Howie was horrified to learn that she had been on her phone at the time.
Devastated Howie ended their relationship, leaving Kim gutted, though they soon managed to get things back on track.
When Kim went on to suffer with anxiety following the accident, Howie supported her wholeheartedly through her subsequent PTSD diagnosis.
Now, the couple seem stronger than ever, though that may all be set to change.
Kim gets the shock of her life when she smells perfume on Howie’s clothes in upcoming scenes.
She’s certain that it isn’t hers, and her mind instantly jumps to the worst case scenario. In Kim’s mind, he must be having an affair.
Is Kim on the right track, or is there a perfectly innocent explanation for Howie’s new fragrance?
This isn’t the only drama within the Fox family, as Kim’s sister Denise (Diane Parish) is also in turmoil following the dramatic Christmas episode that saw her witness Keanu Taylor’s death.
While Kim frets about Howie’s potential bit on the side, Denise attends the community church group with Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter), and is pleasantly surprised by how comforting she finds it.
With her actions set to potentially jeopardise The Six in upcoming scenes, Denise needs all the support she can get, and with Kim now somewhat distracted, could the church group be exactly what she needs to help her keep a level head?
