The Chase host floored by EastEnders beauty as she reveals first ever TV role

The Chase presenter Bradley Walsh couldn't believe what he was hearing during the latest instalment of his show after his celeb guest revealed what her first TV role was

Former EastEnders star Danielle Harold left Bradley Walsh gobsmacked after she revealed what her first ever TV role was.

The revelation came when the stunning 31-year-old appeared on the celebrity version of The Chase on Saturday (January 13). Sitting alongside Raj Bisram, John Conteh and Roger Black, the celebs had high hopes of gaining a wad of cash for their chosen charities.

But before Danielle was fired with questions, Bradley asked her about her career and what other TV roles she had before EastEnders. Surprisingly, the blonde bombshell revealed that EastEnders was her first TV role.

She also said she was “lucky” to gain the role after producers saw her in a video alongside Jamie Oliver. Shocked by her backstory, Bradley shared his disbelief.

“I want to work on other things and play other characters. I can’t wait to get out there and see what’s possible. I’d love to do a drama – something with a beginning, middle and an end to the story.

“I want to do something completely different to soaps. I’d love to get back to doing some films as well.” She went on to add: “It means so much to be trusted with a storyline like this – one that’s close to many people’s hearts.”

Last year, Danielle starred in the latest series of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! The star became a popular contestant on the reality show and was the fifth celeb to be eliminated.

Sharing some of her not so great jungle highlights when she left the programme, Danielle said: “My hair was falling out! It was just so bad. Then I was like, ‘Can I get a treatment?’ but they were like, ‘No sorry Danielle’ so just being in the jungle is the biggest shock.”
