EastEnders aired drama on Tuesday night, as two characters fled Walford in the fallout to some worrying news linked to the Christmas Day murder twist on the BBC soap
EastEnders’ latest episode saw two characters fleeing Walford, amid a murder secret coming under threat on the BBC soap.
Sharon Watts fled Walford with her young son Albie without telling anyone, leaving the rest of The Six furious. Sharon is currently hiding the fact she was involved in the murder of Keanu Taylor on Christmas Day, after her and Keanu’s wedding turned into disaster.
On December 25, the special episode saw Nish Panesar attacked by Denise Fox, as she, Sharon, Linda Carter, Kathy Beale and Stacey Slater tried to stop him from hurting his wife Suki Panesar. He was hit over the head and Sharon told the others he had no pulse. But just moment slater, Keanu stormed in and came across the scene.
As he tried to take Sharon’s son Albie, fresh from the truth that he was not his biological father, Sharon and the other women tried to stop him. Keanu then began to strangle his bride after their doomed wedding, resulting in Linda stabbing him and killing him.

Sharon was a mess after this, as the women were forced to cover up their crime and hide Keanu’s corpse in the burnt out café. Nish survived too, so they claimed Keanu attacked him and went on the run.
But this week, the works restarting in the café threw a spanner in the works. The women managed to get a delay on the works, and on Tuesday they came to the decision they needed to move the body.
Sharon sobbed as she told the women she could not be involved, not wanting to see Keanu’s corpse. The women said it had to be all of them that helped given it’s their mess, and if they didn’t move Keanu’s body soon they’d be found out.

But Sharon had other plans, and during the latest episode she was seen fleeing with her young son Albie. Heading the the tube station with a suitcase, she told her son they were going to the airport.
As Albie asked about his dad, Sharon declared it would just be the two of them before she and Albie fled Walford. It’s not known where she is headed or when she might be back, but The Six were fuming to find out she’d done a runner at a time where they needed to unite to ensure their secret remains under wraps.
