BBC EastEnders’ Denise Fox’s downfall ‘revealed’ as damning evidence spotted in Keanu Taylor’s grave

EastEnders’ Denise Fox could find herself being framed for Keanu Taylor’s murder, after a clue in the latest episode of the BBC soap.

The character left some crucial evidence at the scene where Keanu’s body had been buried, and if found it could lead the police right to Denise’s door. Even though Denise is not Keanu’s killer, her involvement could come to light and perhaps she will be framed by the others caught up in the murder.

Linda Carter, Kathy Beale, Sharon Watts, Stacey Slater, Denise and Suki Panesar were all at the scene in The Vic this Christmas Day when Linda killed Keanu. Keanu was strangling his partner Sharon, Linda’s best friend, after a row over her son Albie.

Keanu had discovered he was not Albie’s father and would not listen, trying to flee with the youngster and plotting to grass the women up to the police over the attack on Nish Panesar that happened moments earlier. Linda stabbed Keanu to get him off of Sharon, killing him.

They dumped his body in the burnt out café and in the latest episode, the women realised they had to move the body or hide it properly to stop him from being found, as works were due to begin on the café. Sharon had fled unable to cope, so it was up to the other five women to conceal Keanu’s body under the floor.

In the fallout to the crime, all of The Six are struggling and they keep clashing with one another. In the latest episode, Denise tried to force Linda to help them move the body, pointing out she had killed him in the first place.

But as Linda began to panic and said she needed some air, Denise grabbed her leading to the other women pulling at her. Denise was shoved to the ground, causing her to fall through the floor and landing on Keanu’s body.

After this, the women got on with burying the corpse further into the ground, before covering the hole with cement. For now it seems the body is concealed, with builders due to enter the café the next day to start working on getting the building back to normal.

So the chances are, it will be a while until Keanu’s body is discovered, but with this being soap land it’s bound to be found at some point. If it is found, Denise is likely to be the one blamed initially and questioned by police due to the crucial evidence she accidentally left at the scene, which will no doubt tie her to the murder.

At the end of the episode Denise was reeling from the day’s events, but as the camera panned back to the café, it showed Keanu’s body having been moved further down and concealed. But next to the body was a necklace, the same necklace Denise has always worn around her neck.

The necklace has the initial ‘D’ on it, and was shown right by the body, so of course if the body is dug up at some point the chain will be seen alongside it. Viewers were gasping over the twist, knowing full well that everyone will recognise the chain.

But does this mean Denise’s downfall is sealed, and could she be framed by the other women because of her huge mistake? Viewers certainly think so, with posting on X: Oh the necklace? Now Denise is gonna go down.. the woman can’t catch a break.”

Another agreed: “Denise is about to get pinned for the murder.” A third added: “Denise is gonna go down for murder,” as a fourth said: “Ohhhh s**t, It’s not looking good for Denise.”
