BBC EastEnders murder victim ‘exposed’ in blink-and-you-miss it moment in Lola message

BBC EastEnders fans can’t wait to find out who the mystery soap victim is, as the Christmas Day episode will finally reveal their identity.

In a dramatic The Six storyline, which began with a flash forward episode all the way back in February, there will be a shock murder twist involving both the victim and the killer.

A male Walford resident has been confirmed to die this Christmas, and either Linda Carter, Sharon Watts, Kathy Beale, Denise Fox, Stacey Slater or Suki Panesar will be responsible as all the women are aware of the murder.

But while the soap has managed to keep the plot line under wraps, one fan has spotted a huge clue as Lola Pearce’s video message from beyond the grave was played last night.

One fan said: “Lola saying ‘burn it all down’ while the camera focussed on Rocky,” as they finished off their message with a skull Emoji icon.

Another agreed: “Brian Conley has already left #eastenders. Maybe that is the biggest clue that Rocky is murdered on Xmas Day!”

Lola said in her message: “Well I had to come and say hello, didn’t I? It’s that time of year again. Time of fun, laughter, magic. Wishes coming true.

“And my wish for you is that your Christmas is everything that it should be. Fun, silly games, family bust-ups because it’s not Christmas without a family bust-up.

“What I want to say to you is Merry Christmas. I don’t suppose it’s been all that merry though, has it?”

She continued: “Because when you love someone, when you really love someone, the thought of losing them makes you rage. There’s been times when I’ve wanted to kick off and burn everything down.

“I suppose you’ve had some moments like that over the last few months, eh? But that’s ok. You’re not a saint, and you don’t have to be. You’re just a lovely guy trying to hold his family together.

“I can’t help being angry. I love you, and I always always will.”

EastEnders airs on Mondays to Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC1.
