Danielle Harold reprises her role in Lola Pearce ‘return’
EastEnders fans will be left in tears next week when the late Lola Pearce, played by Danielle Harold, makes an emotional ‘return’. Soap watchers will recall that Lola tragically passed away in June, with the episodes airing in May, after her devastating brain cancer battle. Jay Brown has struggled with the death of his wife, even turning to drugs to help him numb the pain.

In upcoming episodes, the market traders are full of Christmas cheer. However, Billy Mitchell isn’t in the mood to celebrate without granddaughter Lola. Meanwhile, as the festivities continue, Jay is also struggling without his wife and Honey Mitchell decides to surprise Jay with a recorded message from Lola. After some words of encouragement, he is surprised by what he hears… what has Lola said?
While Danielle, 31, will be back on EastEnders once more as loveable Lola for a brief return, the actress just appeared on on the 2023 series of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!. It’s thought the scenes were filmed a while ago and possibly when she was still on the show.
Character feared dead as two residents arrested after secret murder
EastEnders spoilers reveal a major murder twist next week, as two characters are arrested over a ‘secret death’. Police will storm Walford and make a shock arrest as one missing character is feared dead. Eve Unwin has been missing ever since her showdown with Nish Panesar last month, after he found out about her secret romance with his wife Suki Panesar.
He attacked her before getting his son Ravi Gulati to kill her and dispose of her body. Viewers know Ravi did not go through with it and let Eve live, but he threatened her to leave for good and she has not returned. Eve’s loved ones are worried about her not knowing where she is, and next week her best friend Stacey Slater gets a shock. She receives flowers from Eve, but quickly realises they are not from her – leading to a discovery.

Suki shares her fears and soon snoops on Nish’s laptop, and finds out he sent them. Suki pales as she realises he must know about the affair and he may have hurt Eve. As Suki tells Stacey what she’s uncovered they both fear the worst and worry for Eve’s safety. Soon, a devastated Suki plans her revenge on Nish – but what has she got up her sleeve?
Putting the plan into motion, she asks son Vinny to stay out for the evening so she can spend some alone time with Nish. Stacey fears what she is up to though and bursts into the house, telling her not to do anything stupid. Stacey leaves as Nish arrives home, but what will happen? Later in the week, there’s a double bombshell as news of a murder is revealed to residents.
Jack Branning tells a shocked Stacey that Nish and Ravi have both been arrested and that they believe Eve is dead. With the pair facing murder charges, will they be locked up or will Ravi be forced to tell the truth?
Devastating split for couple ahead of Christmas death
EastEnders spoilers tease the end of one couple’s marriage this Christmas on the BBC soap. Just days before one character finds themselves caught up in a murder twist, and their husband is possibly killed off, a split is revealed according to spoilers. Denise Fox tells Jack Branning they’re over, after being on the rocks for some time.
Denise initially tries to fight for her marriage, as she and Jack continue to drift apart. But as the week goes on, she’s told by her sister Kim Fox that her marriage is over and she must leave Jack for good. In the fallout to the comments, Denise makes a decision that could tear her family apart. Denise decides for once and for all she wants to put an end to her marriage and packs a bag to leave.

Stepdaughter Amy Mitchell is devastated when she realises what is going on, causing her to flee the house. Jack and Denise frantically search for Amy and soon find her. But Jack blames Denise for everything, especially Amy’s current state. He forbids Denise to leave the family home, but will she stay? Jack attempts to make amends with his wife but she tells him she can’t forgive him for using Amy’s mental health to blackmail her.
Whether the pair will be over for good remains to be seen, but just days after these scenes air one male character will die – and fans think it could be Jack. Denise is one of six suspects for the crime, so will Denise kill her husband, or is it someone else who is killed off?
