BBC EastEnders spoilers next week: Shock triple return and double exit in Albert Square

BBC EastEnders is pulling out all the stops next week with a triple return, shock double exit and haunting hallucination set to rock the Albert Square residents

EastEnders fans will be gripped next week with a triple return, shock double exit and haunting hallucination.

Spoilers have revealed that there will be three returns next week in Albert Square. Elsewhere, Alfie Moon and Linda Carter look set to depart Walford as they bid farewell to Albert Square.

Also on the BBC One soap, Denise Fox is left in shock as Keanu Taylor ‘returns’ after his Christmas Day death. Here’s the biggest moments next week ahead on EastEnders…

Shock triple return as Albert Square left reeling

There will be a triple return on EastEnders next week including Karen Taylor, who is back in Walford and desperate for news about her son Keanu, who was murdered by Linda Carter in shock scenes this Christmas. Karen is back from Spain but she soon finds herself in trouble when Phil Mitchell arrives and demands she hand over the £50,000 she kept from Albie’s ‘kidnap’ ransom.

Next week, Karen is back in the Square and immediately she finds herself clashing with Nish. When Phil arrives and demands the money from her, Karen is distracted by the events of Christmas Day and wants to know what really happened that day.

Kathy and Stacey come together to convince her that their version of the events is the truth. Phil and Karen are still at loggerheads over the money and when she refuses to pay up, she hurts Phil by telling him all about Nish and Kat’s romance and how it’s just the start of his Walford empire slipping away from him before his very eyes.

Worried that Karen is going to expose them for what they’ve done, Kathy decides she has no choice but to call the police and report Karen for Albie’s kidnapping – but what will this mean for Karen?

The soap will also air a return for Eddie Knight next week

Separately, the soap will also air a return for Eddie Knight next week. We know his parents are hiding something from him, but we are yet to know what it is. Will George’s arrival finally lead to the truth being exposed? Next week, Eddie heads back to the Vic with the news that he’s won an award for championing diversity in boxing. Whilst George is proud about him, Gina is suspicious and isn’t convinced by her grandad’s new ‘nice guy’ act, but will George see the truth?

Elsewhere, the soap will air a ‘return’ for Keanu Taylor as Denise Fox continues to struggle in the wake of his death. She hallucinates and ‘sees’ him as she struggles with all that has happened, whilst Bernie also inadvertently plays an old voice note from Keanu.

Shock exit for Alfie Moon and Linda Carter as they bid farewell to the Square

Alfie Moon and Linda Carter look set to depart Walford next week on EastEnders. The BBC soap has aired a huge story in the last few months, which culminated in Linda being the one who killed Keanu in shocking scenes this Christmas. Linda has been struggling with her drinking after relapsing just before Christmas, but things have only got worse for her as she deals with the fall out from the murder.

In spoilers for next week on the BBC soap, it’s clear Linda is struggling as she wakes up at The Vic feeling regret and makes a confession to Elaine. Elsewhere, Alfie has a heart to heart with Ian and he encourages him to celebrate that his cancer treatment is over with a holiday and break away from the trials and tribulations of Albert Square.

Linda later bumps into Alfie on the Square and apologises for avoiding him. He tells her he’s leaving to go on holiday and as she heads to his flat to chat more, Alfie asks her if she wants to come with him – will she agree?

When Karen heads back to the Square, Linda is horrified by her arrival, with it no doubt prompting reminders of what she did to Keanu at Christmas when he attacked Sharon in a fit of rage. Elaine catches Linda and she reveals her plan to leave, but her mum tries to dissuade her. However, she’s adamant she wants to go away with Alfie.

With Sharon having already left The Six to deal with all that’s happened, Stacey is shocked when Elaine reveals that Linda is planning to leave the Square – with just four of them left, how will they cope?
