BBC EastEnders spoilers see Alfie Moon return to Walford and drop bombshell

EastEnders’ Alfie Moon returns to Walford next week as he drops a bombshell on Kat Slater after getting new test results.

Alfie had been recuperating in Spain after receiving treatment following his prostate cancer diagnosis. Next week, Alfie returns and heads to the hospital with Linda for his PSA results. Back in Albert Square, Alfie pales when Kat Slater tears into him for his disappearing act but she soon softens when Alfie reveals the truth.

Later in the week, Phil Mitchell is worried about his secret as Kat comforts Alfie at No.55. Viewers will recall that Phil slept with Emma Harding earlier this year, which Keanu Taylor drunkenly told Alfie, who got into a fight with Phil over his one-night stand.

After comforting Alfie, Kat and her ex-husband head to Walford East where Alfie reveals his prostate cancer diagnosis to Tommy. Later, Phil accosts Alfie about Emma, but Alfie insists he has no interest in telling Kat given the current situation. Is his secret really safe?

Alfie’s return isn’t the only recent Walford comeback as last week Dean Wicks made an explosive return to the hit BBC One soap. Soap watchers and Linda Carter were in for a surprise when Dean made a chilling return to Albert Square after seven years. To Linda’s horror, Dean plans to make Walford his home again as he was revealed as the Beales’ new business partner.

Dean’s decision to return is driven by his need to be close to the local hospital where his daughter Jade – who has cystic fibrosis – is receiving treatment and awaiting a life-saving lung transplant. Soap watchers will recall that Dean raped Linda in 2014 and was driven out of Walford after being disowned by his family in 2016.

Now Linda must contend with Dean being back in Albert Square and protesting his innocence to anybody who will listen. Given his reputation amongst Linda’s family, friends and neighbours, Dean’s return is set to create drama for all those involved.
