BBC EastEnders villain Nish drops sinister threat on Rocky ahead of exit twist

EastEnders spoilers have revealed Rocky Cotton finds himself trapped after accepting a loan from villain Nish Panesar, leading to a sinister threat on the BBC soap

EastEnders villain Nish Panesar threatens Rocky Cotton next week, ahead of his exit from the BBC soap.

Rocky, who will leave the show in a mystery storyline in the coming months, recently accepted a money loan from Nish after his gambling got out of control. With him losing thousands of pounds and wanting to keep it from wife Kathy Beale, he turned to Nish for help.

But Nish issues a threat next week after expecting back more money then he gave him. As Rocky admits he has no way of paying Nish back the cash, he asks Nish for lower repayments but Nish isn’t having it.

Nish explains to a downcast Rocky that there are hefty financial penalties for changing the terms of their contract, leaving him in a panic. Things only get worse though, when Nish finds out about Rocky’s gambling and his lies.

Instead of paying Nish back, Rocky has been gambling all his money again and this leaves Nish furious. He warns Rocky that if he doesn’t get his money that day, he’ll tell Kathy everything – so is Rocky about to be exposed?

It comes amid Rocky’s exit from the BBC soap, while his final storyline and exit date are yet to be confirmed. It was announced in September, with it said the storyline had been planned for some time.

Actor Brian Conley recently confirmed he was leaving the role after nearly three years, with him set to bow out later this year it is believed. Brian hit back at claims his exit decision had sparked rows with bosses, as he teased his exciting exit storyline.

Writers have already planned and sorted the exit with it “set in stone”. It’s been hinted the storyline may have already been filmed, while this is not confirmed as an exit date is not known. At the time, EastEnders addressed the reports about his exit, denying claims of a fallout.

They said: “We can confirm that Brian Conley will be leaving EastEnders. There is absolutely no truth in any claims of a feud with bosses and the show fully support Brian in his decision to leave which was made some time ago. We wish him the best of luck for the future as we continue to work towards his exit storyline which has been in the works for some time.”

Taking to Instagram to release a video confirming his exit and denying he quit over “bitter arguments with bosses”, Brian added: “Hello lovely people, it’s me, Brian Conley AKA Rocky from EastEnders. Sending out this message, especially to all the EastEnders fans. Now, you may have heard reports that I’m leaving EastEnders and it was a tough decision but it is true… I am going.

“I made it for many reasons, this decision, and it’s tough because they’re such a wonderful crowd. In front of the cameras and behind the cameras, I’ve loved my three years there. So that’s the truth in the reports! There’s other parts of the reports saying that I ‘clashed’ with TV bosses and the crew. I didn’t ‘clash’ with anyone, I didn’t have a rant.”

He went on: “I’ve gone with their [EastEnders’] blessings at the BBC, I’m excited about the future and where it’s going to go. I’m also excited about Rocky’s exit… as I know it’s good! So I’m sending you much love, all the EastEnders fans, and yeah… enough said!”
