Bobby Brazier ‘feels so lost’ after Strictly Come Dancing stint – but has new career on the horizon

Strictly Come Dancing star Bobby Brazier has opened up about feeling 'a bit lost' after the BBC dance competition came to an end last month

Strictly Come Dancing’s Bobby Brazier, who is the eldest son of the late Jade Goody and Jeff Brazier, confessed he felt ‘a bit lost’ after his stint on the BBC dance show ended last month.

The EastEnders actor, 20, has turned to comfort eating after losing out to Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola in the final. The actor, who plays Freddie Slater on the BBC One soap, finished as a finalist with professional partner Dianne Buswell and the duo are teaming up again for the upcoming Strictly Come Dancing Live! tour.

However, since the show has ended, Bobby has felt lost in life. “I felt a little bit lost after the final, I was in no kind of routine at all. I was eating lots of ice cream at times that I shouldn’t have been, first thing in the morning,” he shared.

Speaking to Mail Online, Bobby also mentioned treating himself to a last-minute trip to Mauritius over Christmas to help shake off the post-Strictly blues. It comes as Bobby has propelled his family into the spotlight as they have landed a reality show following his Strictly success. Bobby is the eldest son of late reality star Jade Goody – who died aged 27 in 2009 after she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Shipwrecked star Jeff Brazier, 44, is the father of Bobby and Big Brother star Jade’s other son Freddie – and he welcomed his sons during his short romance with Jade, which lasted from 2002 until 2004.

It was reported over Christmas that Jeff and Freddie will be contestants in the 2024 season of Celebrity Race Around the World on BBC One. The pair will join other celebrities as they try to make their way from one point of the world to another with minimal resources.

Their involvement on the show will mean they join Bobby on the BBC as he is a cast member on EastEnders. A source told The Sun: “Being in the audience almost every week on Strictly has certainly helped to raise the profile of Jeff. Bobby’s done wonders for the Brazier name and it seems producers want to get in on the action as soon as possible. It’s a bit of a coup to have got on Celebrity Race Against the World, as it turned out to be one of 2023’s biggest telly hits.”
