Bobby Brazier reveals future on EastEnders after exit from Freddie Slater role for Strictly Come Dancing
Bobby has also caught the eye of music label bosses who think he could be the next big thing
BOBBY Brazier has opened up about his future on EastEnders after taking a break to do Strictly Come Dancing.
The 20-year-old has been paired with Dianne Buswell for the current series of Strictly Come Dancing.
But taking part meant having a break from his role as Freddie Slater in EastEnders.
Now Bobby – the son of presenter Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody – has insisted fans will see him back on Albert Square at some point.
He told heat: “I’m going back. I don’t know when or how but I am going back after the Strictly tour.
“I miss everyone and I miss acting. Every so often, a dance will feel like a scene – like when I was being Patrick Swayze [in Movies Week] – and it feels like I’m stepping into a role, which makes me miss work.”
But EastEnders bosses could have a fight on their hands as The Sun recently revealed Bobby has caught the eye of music labels who are touting him to be the next Harry Styles.
Insiders say music chiefs reckon Bobby is is a “triple threat” as he can act, dance and sing.
A source said: “Bobby has caught the attention of major music labels who have spotted his ability and appeal across the board — from young people to families.
“People at labels including Universal and Sony have talked about Bobby.
“Some think he could be the next Harry Styles if they market him properly.
“Bobby has shown an amazing ability to connect with an audience and there is real hype around him.”
During last weekend’s Strictly Come Dancing Bobby and Dianne suffered a blow when their attempt at the iconic Dirty Dancing lift went wrong – leaving Dianne “gutted”.
