Denise Fox loses control at home as sleazy Jack Branning enjoys affair with Stacey Slater in new EastEnders pictures
New EastEnders pictures have revealed the aftermath of Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) and Stacey Slater’s (Lacey Turner) sleazy night together, after deciding to embark on a fully-fledged affair.
The pictures, which are from tonight’s (January 31) episode – available to watch now on BBC iPlayer – show the couple preparing to go their separate ways the morning after.
Jack and Stacey ended up in bed together after baby Charli’s guardianship hearing, which saw Jack’s wife Denise Fox (Diane Parish) go AWOL as her mental health continued to decline.
Denise has been struggling massively since the events of Christmas Day, which saw Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) murder Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).
In the aftermath, The Six agreed to cover it up, but things took a turn for Denise when her necklace fell in Keanu’s grave, leaving evidence on the body.
Since then, Denise’s paranoia has become so bad that she has started to hallucinate, and her family have begun to question her odd behaviour.
While Stacey and Jack enjoyed their night together, Denise was left alone, and she was plagued with nightmares.
Her cries eventually woke step-daughter Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd), who offered to lay with Denise until she fell back to sleep.
Jack and Stacey remain blissfully unaware of Denise’s plight, as they share a kiss on her back doorstep the following morning.
