EastEnders Anna Knight’s shock pregnancy ‘exposed’ as baby daddy ‘set to return’
EXCLUSIVE: EastEnders’ Anna Knight, played by Molly Rainford, is a firm favourite on the BBC soap - but she could be set for some baby drama with ex-beau Freddie Slater
EastEnders’ Anna Knight could be set for a baby bombshell which could lead to the return of her baby daddy, AI has claimed.
The character, played by Molly Rainford, made her Walford debut in 2023 and has become a firm favourite since. After rocking up the square with the rest of the Knight clan, Anna’s already had a dramatic few months.
Last year, Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) made her epic return to the soap after 25 years off-screen. Fans will recall how the character was killed off-screen in 1998 – but really, she ended up going into the witness protection programme.
Cindy eventually changed her name to Rose and met George Knight. The pair went on to have two children together, Gina and Anna – however Rose, aka Cindy, walked out on them a few years ago.
Fast forward to last year, and George, Gina and Anna, as well as George’s fiancé Elaine, turned up to the square and have become the new Queen Vic owners. And it didn’t take long for Cindy to come back too with dramatic scenes airing in August.
Since then, Cindy has settled back into Walford with Ian, while patching up her relationship with daughters Gina and Anna. George has seemingly moved on from Cindy, with the pair putting their differences aside for their children.
Over in the soap recently, Anna has struck up a relationship with Bobby Beale. The pair had a brief romance last year but that was cut short. Fans will remember that Bobby’s pal Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) ended up sleeping with Anna in December. The truth of their one-night-stand eventually came out – leaving Bobby devastated.
Bobby and Freddie soon patched things up though. However, Freddie ended up leaving the square in October after he attacked Stacey Slater’s stalker Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis) in self-defence.

But now, it’s been claimed that Anna could be pregnant with Freddie’s baby – leading to his return on the soap. Fans online haven’t been shy in sharing their thoughts on Anna’s pregnancy.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, one person said: “Anna is definitely going to end up pregnant isn’t she?” Someone else mused: “Oh Anna is totally finding out she’s pregnant.” A third quipped: “Well that’s Anna pregnant then isn’t it.”
Bard AI has also echoed fan’s thoughts. The system has claimed how a pregnant Anna could tie in with Freddie’s return. Daily Star quizzed one of the world’s most popular artificially intelligent “creative” tools Bard AI to see if Anna is pregnant with Freddie’s child.
